Contributing to the evolution of Iress’ Site & Reliability Engineering strategy and future-state operating model
What you will bring
Strong experience supporting and operating mission-critical production systems
Hands-on experience with AWS and hybrid infrastructure environments
Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, ECS, Kafka, Elasticache and modern cloud architectures
Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Buildkite, Jenkins, TeamCity or GitHub Actions
Strong scripting or engineering capability (e.g. Bash, Python, C#, Kotlin)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Working knowledge of databases such as Postgres and SQL Server
A security-first mindset across all layers of the stack
Strong understanding of modern observability and reliability engineering practices
Comfort working with Generative AI tools and code assistants, with a strong appreciation for governance and security
A collaborative, confident communicator who can engage effectively across technical and non technical stakeholders
A continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for automation, modern engineering practices and future-focused thinking
