The College of Community Studies and Public Affairs (CCSPA) is comprised of the Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, and Public and Nonprofit Leadership Departments and the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. The college collectively offers thirty programs to over 2700 students, including undergraduate, graduate, and certificate students. CCSPA is a community-engaged college, with programs that are designed to help students find creative ways to engage with, learn from, and contribute to growth and sustainability of the urban and regional communities of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The Special Education Teacher is a state certified teacher responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. Description of College:

The College of Community Studies and Public Affairs (CCSPA) is comprised of the Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, and Public and Nonprofit Leadership Departments and the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. The college collectively offers thirty programs to over 2700 students, including undergraduate, graduate, and certificate students. CCSPA is a community-engaged college, with programs that are designed to help students find creative ways to engage with, learn from, and contribute to growth and sustainability of the urban and regional communities of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Advancement of equity, inclusion, and anti-racism in practice are integral to the work of the college’s 44 resident faculty, 127 community faculty, seven service faculty, and nine staff.

Adjunct Faculty members are expected to:

The goal of the Hall Ministry program is to provide pastoral care and presence to the Residence Hall Director, Assistant Hall Director, Resident Assistants, and the residents of a given community in both everyday life and extraordinary circumstances. Duties and Responsibilities

Hall Ministers are required to serve an average of 10 hours per week and are required to live in the residence hall during the academic year (Aug through May). Hall Ministers are compensated through a furnished apartment year-round and a university meal plan during the academic year. Administration: Attend training/introductory meetings at the beginning of each semester. Assist in training and development of Resident Assistants in spiritual concerns of their position. Participate in weekly residence hall staff meetings. Meet weekly with the Residence Hall Director. Meet biweekly with the Hall Ministry Coordinator. Meet monthly with all Hall Ministers for discussion of relevant topics/issues/materials. Faith: Facilitate a weekly faith sharing group or Bible study in the residence hall. Facilitate in-hall programming tied to pastoral responsibilities and in accordance with prescribed programming model. Periodically check on the hall chapel and arrange for its maintenance and upkeep. Hospitality: Develop relationships within the residence hall (RHD, RAs, residents, etc.). Serve as a minister of hospitality at university-wide liturgies. Provide hospitality ministry in the residence hall once a month. Crisis: Provide pastoral support should a crisis situation arise (e.g., death, hospitalization, etc.).

Must be supportive of Catholic teaching and ethics and willing to help advance the University’s mission and identity as a Catholic, Jesuit institution. Minimum bachelor’s degree. Ability to work in a university setting with young adults. Working from his/her home up full time, the Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy to K-12 students who are enrolled in Connections Academy virtual public schools. The OT will connect with students using webcams and web conferencing software, while using the company's online Education Management System as well as other tools to manage his/her caseload.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality, direct occupational therapy services to assigned students in accordance with the student's mandated IEP and service goals:
• Conduct screenings and formal and informal evaluations of all students' occupational therapy needs using documented best practices;
• Be an expert on state specific policies and procedures for implementing Occupational Therapy services;
• Write evaluation reports, progress notes, and inidualized education plans
• Log all student interactions within the EMS platform including detailed therapy notes that follow Medicaid guidelines

CMC is part of a statewide network of Community Dispute Resolution Centers that provides free and low‑cost dispute resolution programs, helping parties develop their own solutions to matters that might otherwise bring them to court or have already entered litigation. Services are delivered by a team of professional staff and trained volunteer community mediators.

Position Summary

The Community Mediation Center is seeking a dynamic, community‑facing professional to support and expand community‑based mediation, conflict coaching, and restorative practice work. This role emphasizes preventative, relationship‑centered, restorative approaches to community building and conflict resolution and is distinct from court‑based mediation.

The ideal candidate brings experience in conflict resolution and restorative practices, enjoys working across systems—youth, families, schools, organizations, and community groups—and is energized by adapting their skills to meet evolving community needs. Qualifications: A candidate for the position of teaching associate in the Department of Computer Science must meet the following minimum qualifications:

1. Possession of an approved baccalaureate degree.
2. Admission to the M.S. Program in the Department of Computer Science, in good academic standing for at least 1 semester and either a classified or conditionally classified student.
3. For graduate students with conditional classified standing in the discipline current enrollment in at least six (6) units of graduate study in the program is required.
4. Must meet the GPA of 3.0 or better in both Fresno State and the M.S. Program units and/or prerequisite units inidually and collectively.
5. For graduate students already matriculating in the program, a pattern of significant and satisfactory progress toward the completion of the graduate degree is required.
6. Communication skills appropriate to the instructional setting.
7. Proven background for the course being assigned.
8. Ability and willingness to work with computers including common word-processing software, and computer and internet-based language teaching technology.

Purpose of Role

About This Opportunity

Joining our Social Work and Sociology team, the Assistant Professor will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct assigned classes in keeping with standards established by Social Work & Sociology faculty and administration in consultation with the Academic Dean and Provost;
• Assess proficiency of teaching and accomplishments of students in assigned courses at regular and timely intervals;
• Provide advisement to erse students in preparation for graduation, future academic pursuits, and/or professional social work practice;
• Mentor students in completion of service/research projects, independent studies, and other scholarly activities;
• Assist in the on-going design, implementation, and evaluation of the Social Work & Sociology curriculum;
• Keep abreast of field of study/profession by reading current scholarship and attending relevant professional development training and/or conferences;
• Provide evidence of an active and productive research agenda;
• Engage in service through participation with the Institute for Government and Non-Profit Innovation, Training, and Evaluation (IGNITE), field education supervision, or other;
• Perform committee work within the Social Work & Sociology Department and Daemen University including re-accreditation related activities;
• Assist in marketing, communications, and student recruitment for the Social Work & Sociology Department and Daemen University;
• Attend meetings called by the Daemen University President, Provost, Academic Dean, Department Chair, and/or MSW Program Director; and

Perform other duties as requested and/or required in accordance with the Daemen University Faculty Handbook

Required Qualifications

• Possess a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-Accredited College or University
• Minimum: Two-years post-MSW experience
• Minimum: Two (2) years teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
• Be credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York or other jurisdiction or willing to pursue, transfer, or renew licensure.

A doctoral degree in Social Welfare or related disciplines is strongly desired. Candidates will be considered if they can provide evidence demonstrating they are on a path to timely degree completion.

An Edmentum Virtual Teacher, SOD is a highly qualified, state certified educator primarily responsible for delivering specific course content in an online, virtual environment. Teachers provide both live and asynchronous instruction. While the technology used for lesson delivery assesses the student's mastery, Virtual Teachers support, guide and manage the learning process by focusing on students' inidual needs. Lesson grading, feedback, parent and student messaging, and interaction with local school representatives are also part of the role

Virtual Teachers work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to advance each student's learning toward established goals. They facilitate student engagement with their plan, encourage discussion and clarity around the subject matter, and ensure progress is made. Virtual Teachers also develop rapport with students and create a trusting environment for shared accountability for student progress.

This role supports multiple virtual, live instruction service offerings within Edmentum's Instructional Services organization. In all cases, learning is built on a foundation of award-winning digital curricula aligned to state standards.

Teachers will be assigned to facilitate some combination of the following:

Flexible Virtual Learning - In this learning environment, students are assigned an Edmentum course via their local school, and they complete the work largely on their own time. Grading, messaging, and live help and overview sessions are provided by an Edmentum Virtual Teacher.

Enhanced Virtual Learning - This learning environment fills gaps where teacher resources or schedules are stretched. These sessions are scheduled within the school day/bell schedule. Edmentum Virtual Teachers lead the session daily, just like their regular classroom teacher, meeting with students to teach on a given topic.

Targeted Skills Instruction - These sessions are done in a tutoring format offered outside of normal classroom instruction as a small group intervention service. Edmentum Teachers provide a tailored lesson to students grouped based on their diagnostic assessment results for a given subject.

Special Education - In this learning environment, the Teacher provides instruction based on inidual students' IEPs (Inidualized Education Program).

Additional Responsibilities - Standalone grading services and class coverage.

Certified Student and Teacher Support

These roles require completion of a certification track for credentialling before duties are assigned.

Success Coaching - In this function, Virtual Teachers implement student-centered strategies to help students develop high levels of self-efficacy. Virtual Teachers conduct video conferences and phone calls to motivate students and review course progress. These conversations provide students with the tools, strategies, and support needed to problem-solve while also celebrating student growth and advancement.

Instructional Coaching - This function provides research-driven customizable district and/or school coaching for teachers. The coaching process is meant to provide professional development specific to a teacher's needs and/or provide coaching more broadly across the teacher pool on relevant topics. The Instructional Coach performs a variety of duties including the creation of training materials, onboarding of teachers, leadership development programs for teachers, induction programs, and on-going professional development.

You will be expected to teach 2-3 courses per semester in Functional Piano and Fundamentals of Music, with the possibility of additional courses in Class Piano, music history, or music theory, depending on the department's needs, and fulfill various service obligations within the academic year.

To thrive in this role, candidates should have a strong interest in teaching and mentoring students in both face-to-face and online modalities. They need to be comfortable with learning and using instructional technologies in their courses.

The primary focus of the position will be on accompaniment activities, and the applicant should expect to spend a large portion of time preparing music and rehearsing with students, faculty, and guest artists. Experience and enthusiasm for coaching students collaboratively will help the applicant be successful. In addition, candidates will be part of a small, close-knit department that values teamwork, respect, and mutual support, and need to be comfortable working as an active team member.

Minimum Qualifications:

MM Collaborative Piano, Piano Performance, or similar degree. Graduate or Teaching Assistant experience of at least two years in piano accompaniment or collaborative piano.

Preferred Qualifications: DMA in Collaborative Piano, Piano Performance, or similar degree. Experience in teaching piano for non-pianist music majors, accompanying and coaching professionals and students.

This position is located on the Troth Yhedda' campus in Fairbanks, Alaska. Provide online course facilitation for the pre-licensure programs.

• Instruct students utilizing existing curriculum for assigned classes.
