As an SAP Order Management Consultant specializing in S/4 HANA, you will be responsible for providing expertise in configuring, implementing, and optimizing the Order Management module within SAP S/4 HANA. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions within the SAP ecosystem. About the Role:

IT Division

The Information Systems ision maintains a cybersecurity program for the Department.   The staff provide security policies, guidance, training, and support to the department as well as the 64 county election's departments. In addition, the cybersecurity staff help support the State of Colorado cybersecurity program, promote cybersecurity throughout the State including Colorado business and elections. Cybersecurity staff maintain the Agency Cybersecurity Plan (ACSP), incident response plan, Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, and other security policies and procedures.   Unit is responsible for network and systems cybersecurity for cloud and virtual infrastructure, the centralized voter registration system, election's systems, web services, network, servers, and desktops.

IT Infrastructure and Operations Unit

Oversee and support information systems, including cloud infrastructure, network, servers, workstations, software, application development, and data services to support the Colorado Department of State (CDOS) staff, as well as the citizens of Colorado. Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer with an Application Engineer DevOps focus to join our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) engineering team. This role will lead the implementation, optimization, and support of systems that enable seamless parcel and freight shipping integration using ConnectShip and FedEx Ship Manager Server, tightly coupled with SAP EWM and Manhattan platforms. This position is a key contributor responsible for DevOps practices, configuration, coding, and operational support to ensure critical integrations run securely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, deploy, optimize, monitor, and improve systems and business applications.
• Contribute to capability roadmaps and conduct technology research for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and deliverables.
• Define nonfunctional requirements in accordance with engineering best practices for security, reliability, and performance.
• Partner with administration and operational teams to improve key service practices and document technical debt.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5+ years of configuration and/or development experience across a broad range of hardware and software products.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient ability to design, develop, test, and deploy applications/systems.
• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Experience with ConnectShip and compiled applications (e.g., Custom Shipping App, AMP interface for EWM/Manhattan).
• Experience with FedEx Ship Manager Server.
• .NET or Java development experience.
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with Ansible as an automation engine.
• Experience with SAP HANA platforms and integration with external systems (WES/WCS).

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $95,000.00 to $158,400.00 per year. The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator consultant to support the ITS Operations team. Hybrid Work Arrangement:

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, combining on‑campus and remote work. Employees are expected to be on site at least one day per week and for activities that require in‑person presence, such as team collaboration, service delivery, or campus events. Specific on‑site expectations are determined in coordination with the supervisor and must align with departmental needs and institutional policy. Remote work privileges may be revoked at any time.

Supervisory Relationships:

This is an inidual contributor position that reports administratively and functionally to the Application Development Manager.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, related experience is necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related field is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience is necessary.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar is necessary.

• Experience with web technologies, frameworks, and databases is necessary.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and best practices is necessary.

• Familiarity with university-specific systems and processes is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is necessary.

• Demonstrated commitment to VUIT's guiding principles is necessary.
