Who We Are and What We are Doing:
Ethena Labs is actively building and deploying a suite of groundbreaking digital dollar products aiming to upgrade money into the internet era.
Our flagship product, USDe, is a synthetic dollar backed by digital assets, and takes the novel approach of using a delta-neutral hedged basis strategy to maintain its peg. This product scaled from zero to $15b in 18 months.
Expanding on this, iUSDe is designed specifically for traditional financial institutions, incorporating necessary compliance features to enable them to access the crypto-native rewards our protocol generates, in an institutional-friendly manner.
Ethena has also developed USDtb: a fiat backed GENIUS compliant stablecoin in partnership with BlackRock which has scaled to ~$2b.
These products are also offered in a whitelabel stablecoin offering where any application, chain, wallet or exchange can launch their own stablecoin on Ethena’s back-end infrastructure.
Through these offerings, Ethena Labs is not just creating new financial products; we are building the foundational infrastructure for a more open, efficient, and interconnected global financial system.
Open job offerings will be focused on two new major product lines coming to market in the next few months.
The Role
Ethena is one of the most impressive groups in Crypto. They are seeking a high agency People/HR Coordinator to serve as the central operational engine of our People team. The team currently stands at 40+. We will steadily grow over the next few years. At Ethena we look for owners. Whether you are junior or senior, we expect you to thrive under the pressure of responsibility and possess a relentless desire to improve yourself and the functions. This role is designed for a professional who views HR through a lens of innovation and operational excellence.
Your mission is to ensure a seamless employee lifecycle while maintaining the absolute integrity of our HR data, compliance, and internal support systems. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Talent, you will manage the technical and administrative verification layer of our people operations. You will be expected to operate with independence, treating the employee experience as your personal responsibility and proactively surfacing risks or inefficiencies before they become issues. We value a “security-first” approach to data and a “customer service” mindset toward our team.
What You’ll Do
- Be Ethena’s HR Oracle!
- Execute end-to-end onboarding for all new hires, ensuring 100% of equipment, accounts, background checks, and documentation are completed before day one.
- Manage the tracking of all HR reviews, probation, bi-annual performance. Track career progression, compensation reviews etc.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive “HR Operations Playbook” that documents every recurring SOP, from leave-of-absence tracking to termination checklists.
- Own the HRIS (we use Deel) as the canonical source of truth. Conduct full audits to ensure 100% accuracy of employee records, compensation data, and org charts with a regular validation cadence.
- Manage day-to-day enrollment and termination any and all team benefit plans, responding to all employee inquiries within a timely manner.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to collate information for scorecards & JDs, manage complex interview scheduling, and facilitate the transition from offer letter to onboarding.
- Generate quarterly reports on headcount, turnover, and time off to provide leadership with actionable data.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years (many years more is good too) experience in a lean HR function for a small to medium size organisation.
- Obsessive attention to detail, ensuring everything is error-free even in a high output environment.
- High fluency in HRIS, Performance Management and ATS tooling (Deel, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Lever, Leapsom, PERK) with the ability to automate repetitive tasks and pull custom reports.
- A proven track record of identifying friction in the employee lifecycle and proposing innovative fixes without being asked.
- Ability to translate complex policies into simple language while handling sensitive health and disciplinary data with absolute confidentiality.
- Functional literacy in employment laws somewhere (we’re global, so you can’t know it all, but a foundation in at least a single region) and the ability to identify legal risks for escalation.
- Experience remaining effective during rapid organisational changes and the ability to balance long-term projects against daily HR support.
$40,000 - $60,000 a year
Why Ethena Labs?
- You’d be joining a group that has well established itself as one of the most successful crypto-native company’s of all time, a group with a mission to revolutionise decentralised finance and it’s position in global finance.
- Work alongside a passionate and innovative team that values collaboration and creativity.
- Enjoy a flexible, remote-friendly work environment with established opportunities for personal growth and learning.
- If you subscribe to the mission of separating the dollar from the state, then we want to hear from you!
- We look forward to receiving your application and will be in touch after having a chance to review.

Who is Risk Labs?
Risk Labs is the foundation and core team behind UMA and Across. The Risk Labs team operates as one cohesive culture, but focuses on two core protocols: UMA and Across. UMA and Across are decentralised protocols governed by community members across the globe in DAOs, and are supported by Risk Labs Foundation. UMA’s optimistic oracle (OO) can record any verifiable truth or data onto a blockchain. Across is leading the future of interoperability with its frontier intents-based architecture.
We are a remote-first, globally distributed team focused on building infrastructure that pushes crypto forward.
Why This Role Exists
This is the first analytics engineering role at Risk Labs. The transformation layer has reached a level of complexity that demands a dedicated owner, and right now that work is distributed across people hired to do other things. You’ll sit within Data Engineering, reporting to the Platform Engineering Lead, and work most closely with our Data Analytics Lead and Product team as your primary stakeholders.
We are serious about building a truly agentic data platform, and this hire is a prerequisite for that. Agentic systems are only as good as the data they run on. Without deterministic, well-governed, and consistently-defined data served from a single authoritative source, any AI initiative we pursue is built on unstable ground. This role is the foundation that makes all of it possible.
What You’ll Own
1. The Transformation Layer
You are the DRI for everything between raw ingestion and the clean data layer. You own the modelling strategy and are trusted to push back when a request would compromise what we’ve built. You work with the Analytics Lead to align on priorities and with Platform on infrastructure constraints.
2. Refactor and Legacy Migration
We have inherited complexity: undocumented logic, redundant models, and systems built for speed rather than longevity. You’ll audit what we have, cut what we don’t need, and rebuild the rest into something clean, traceable, and maintainable. You decide what gets retired versus migrated, and you own the sequencing.
3. Data Quality and Testing
You’ll design and own our approach to data quality: what we test, how we test it, and what happens when something breaks. We want proactive alerting and self-healing pipelines where possible. You’ll work with the Analytics Lead to codify business logic tests and implement column-level lineage across the transformation layer.
4. BigQuery Cost Optimisation
You’ll own the efficiency of our query and storage footprint, refactoring models and materialisation strategies to reduce unnecessary spend, and keeping a close eye on cost as agentic data usage scales.
5. Event Data and Product Observability
Working closely with Product and the Analytics Lead, you’ll build a robust event data model that gives us meaningful observability across our full product suite. You’ll bring experience with event data and tooling like Amplitude to help us design a scalable in-house approach to product analytics, built with intent rather than assembled reactively.
What Success Looks Like
- The transformation layer has a clear, documented owner. Questions about where a metric comes from have fast, traceable answers.
- BigQuery costs are meaningfully lower within the first few months, without degradation in the data we’re serving.
- New product launches ship with data instrumentation built in from day one.
- You have materially freed up the Analytics Lead to focus on analysis and strategic insight, not data preparation.
- Automated data quality tests are running in production and catching issues before they reach stakeholders.
- When something breaks, the root cause is understood and resolved by you, not escalated.
- AI agents and tooling at Risk Labs are pulling data from a governed, deterministic, well-documented data layer, and you built the foundation that made that possible.
- You manage your own priorities, communicate proactively when things shift, and rarely need to be told what to do next.
Skills and Experience
Required
- Deep, demonstrable expertise in data modelling across multiple time horizons, dimensions, and levels of granularity
- Advanced SQL: performant, readable, and warehouse-aware
- Experience owning a transformation layer in production, including a meaningful refactor or migration
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing data quality frameworks: testing, alerting, and lineage
- Experience with event data and product analytics tooling (Amplitude, Segment, or similar)
- Experience with crypto data, or data environments characterised by high normalisation, irregular schemas, and significant inherited complexity
- Strong cross-functional communication; able to work closely with non-technical stakeholders without losing precision
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage a shifting backlog without losing momentum
Nice to Have
- Experience with dbt
- Familiarity with BigQuery: query optimisation, partitioning, clustering, materialisation strategies
- Prior exposure to analytics work
- Practical use of AI/LLM tooling to accelerate your own workflows
Tech Stack
BigQuery, dbt, Python, Airflow, Amplitude, Preset/Superset, Hex, GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud Functions, Datastream), Slack, GitHub, Claude Code, Codex
Who Thrives Here
- Strong opinions, loosely held. You arrive with a point of view and argue for it, but update when the evidence changes.
- Bias towards less. Ten well-built models over fifty fragile ones. You’re comfortable cutting rather than accumulating.
- Genuinely excited about AI as a practical tool. You’ve already figured out how to use it to go faster and don’t wait for permission to try something new.
- An excellent async communicator. You over-communicate status, flag blockers early, and don’t leave stakeholders wondering.
- Comfortable in the unknown. You don’t need everything documented before you make progress. You can read a system and form a view.
- Self-managing. You triage, sequence, and execute independently. This is not a role with a well-defined sprint handed to you each week.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary with a mix of salary, tokens, and equity. Our goal is to create a holistic package that meets your needs and provides exposure to the upside of what you’re building and the impact you create.
- Paid in stablecoins or fiat, your choice
- Unlimited vacation, and we actually take it
- Family care, training, and development support
- 100% remote
- At least two company-wide offsites per year
Closing
Studies show that women and people of colour are less likely to apply unless they meet every qualification. Risk Labs is committed to building a erse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. If you’re excited about this role, even if your experience doesn’t align perfectly, we encourage you to apply.
Risk Labs is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status.
Our Values
- We value curiosity.
- We value openness, honesty, and directness.
- We value integrity.
- We value iterative learning.
- We value taking smart risks.
- We value being high agency.
Why Work at Risk Labs?
We’re a mission-driven team aligned with the ethos of crypto and focused on meaningful impact. We value ownership, adaptability, and kindness. We support personal wellness, professional growth, and flexible work environments, whether you’re family-focused, nomadic, or somewhere in between.
Our Team and Backers
Our global team blends deep technical expertise with erse business perspectives. Backed by investors including Placeholder, Blockchain Capital, Bain Capital, Coinbase, and Dragonfly.

- Head of Institutional Sales — DeFi & Digital Assets (NY / NJ)
- New York or New Jersey · Hybrid · Full-time
- Base: $180,000–$220,000 + Uncapped OTE
The institutional digital assets market is no longer emerging — it’s arrived. And the firms that move now, with the right people, will define the next decade of how financial institutions interact with decentralised finance.
We are hiring a senior institutional sales professional to lead the commercial launch of a new digital assets product within an established, well-capitalised financial technology firm. This is the rare combination: the energy, autonomy, and upside of a start-up product launch — backed by the infrastructure, credibility, and client relationships of a firm with serious institutional pedigree.
If you’ve spent years bridging the gap between DeFi infrastructure and institutional buyers, and you’re ready to do it at scale with real backing behind you — this is the role.
Why this role is different
- Ground-floor commercial ownership of a new product in a firm with an existing institutional client base — you’re not starting from zero
- A compensation structure built for a top performer: $180k–$220k base with genuinely uncapped commission
- Direct access to executive leadership and the ability to shape product, positioning, and go-to-market strategy from day one
- An established firm’s brand and balance sheet behind a product that genuinely moves the needle for institutional clients
- The right moment: regulatory clarity is improving, institutional appetite is accelerating, and the market is ready
What you’ll own
- Lead institutional sales for a new DeFi and digital assets product across hedge funds, asset managers, prime brokers, family offices, and bank treasury desks
- Build and convert a pipeline of institutional prospects from first engagement through to signed commercial agreements
- Position the product in context of clients’ existing digital asset strategies — on-chain treasury, tokenised assets, DeFi yield, liquidity management, and custody
- Engage with Chief Investment Officers, Heads of Digital Assets, Crypto Trading Desks, and Treasury teams
- Navigate compliance, legal, and risk frameworks at regulated financial institutions
- Feed market intelligence back into product and strategy — your client conversations will shape the roadmap
- Represent the firm at key digital assets, DeFi, and institutional crypto events across New York and the broader US market
- Build and eventually scale a sales team as the product gains traction
What we need to see
- Deep, hands-on experience in DeFi — you understand the protocols, the infrastructure, and how institutional clients think about on-chain risk and opportunity
- Proven track record selling digital asset products, crypto infrastructure, or blockchain-based solutions into regulated financial institutions
- Existing network across institutional crypto and digital asset leadership in the US financial services market
- Ability to navigate both worlds fluently: DeFi-native conversations and compliance-driven buying processes of regulated institutions
- Experience with tokenised assets, on-chain treasury management, smart contract infrastructure, staking, or digital asset custody solutions
- Familiarity with the US digital assets regulatory landscape: SEC, CFTC, OCC guidance, and evolving state-level frameworks
- Based in New York or New Jersey, or willing to relocate
Strongly desirable
- Prior experience at a digital asset exchange, DeFi protocol, crypto prime broker, blockchain infrastructure firm, or digital asset custodian
- Understanding of layer-1 and layer-2 blockchain architecture and how it translates into institutional product design
- Experience navigating MiCA, DORA, or international digital asset regulatory frameworks
- Prior success launching a new product or entering a new market segment
- Active presence and credibility within the institutional crypto and Web3 community
The package
- Base salary $180,000–$220,000 depending on experience
- Uncapped OTE — commission structure designed to make top performers very well paid
- Full US benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching
- Conference and travel budget across the US digital assets calendar
- Hybrid working from New York or New Jersey office
- Direct line to the founding product team and executive leadership
The institutional DeFi moment is now. The product is real. The backing is serious. What’s missing is the right person to take it to market. If that’s you apply directly and we will connect with you to discuss further.

About us
Lisk is building a new kind of financial platform for businesses - one that brings the best of crypto infrastructure into an experience that feels like a modern financial app. We’re replacing fragmented corporate treasury tooling with a single workspace where teams manage accounts, payments, cards, and investments - across web and mobile.
Your mission
We’re looking for a senior product designer to join our product team and own the end-to-end design of large parts for our web and mobile experiences. You’ll work across complex financial workflows - onboarding, payments, treasury management, card controls, permissions - and help build the design system that ties it all together.
This isn’t a role where you inherit a mature product and optimize. You’ll be shaping foundational UX patterns from the ground up, running user research to validate them, and working closely with product and engineering to ship.
What you’ll be doing
- Design end-to-end experiences: from research and discovery through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
- Build and maintain the design system - components, patterns, and guidelines that scale across web and mobile
- Conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, competitive analysis) to inform design decisions
- Design complex multi-step flows for financial operations (payments, approvals, account management)
- Collaborate closely with product management and engineering in a fast-moving, async-first environment
- Contribute to product strategy by translating user insights into feature direction
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of product design experience, with meaningful time spent on complex, multi-surface products (web + mobile)
- Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design work on fintech or similarly complex products
- Experience building or significantly contributing to a design system
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and apply user research
- Excellent systems thinking - you design in patterns and components, not just screens
- Strong communication skills for a remote, async-first team
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience with AI-powered design tools and workflows
Bonus superpowers
- Experience with crypto, DeFi, or blockchain products
- Experience designing for B2B financial tools (treasury, payments, expense management)
- Familiarity with multi-sig or approval-based workflows
How we work
We’re a remote-first team spread across the world. Working across time zones pushes us to communicate clearly, keep context open, and move quickly without unnecessary friction. Our working hours center around European time zones. We trust people to take ownership, make decisions, and deliver outcomes - while staying aligned through a mix of real-time teamwork and async communication.
Perks & benefits
- Flexible work schedule so you can balance life and work on your terms
- 25 days off per year
- Annual team retreats in amazing locations - not corporate offsites, but trips you’ll actually look forward to
Join us
You’ll be building at the frontier of neo finance. That means no playbooks, no best practices, no old ways of doing things. You’ll own design from the ground up and help define how businesses interact with money. If you want massive upside and the chance to help create a category that reshapes global finance, this is the place to be.

The Senior Data Engineer is a critical role reporting directly to the CTO. The primary mission is to rapidly deliver a reliable, production-ready market data platform that serves as the single source of truth for trading, risk, and business intelligence.
You’ll immediately own the entire data platform from inception and deliver working historical and real-time Tardis pipelines in the first 60 days. Beyond the initial MVP, the role requires iteratively evolving the platform into a best-in-class, cloud-native, observable, and self-service system. You will work hand in hand with the CTO & trading team to scope & deliver to business needs. The Senior Data Engineer will also serve as the go-to data expert for the firm and will be responsible for mentoring future junior data engineers or analysts.
What You’ll Do
- Rapidly spin up the cloud environment. Deliver working historical backfill pipelines from Tardis.dev into a queryable database.
- Deliver a real-time Tardis WebSocket pipeline, ensuring data is normalized, cached for live consumption, accurate, replayable, and queryable by Day 60.
- Ensure all pipelines are idempotent, retryable, and use exactly-once semantics. Implement full CI/CD, Terraform, automated testing, and secrets management.
- Implement proper observability (structured logs, metrics, dashboards, alerting) from day one. Provide immediate self-service access to the MVP database for Trading and BI teams via tools like Tableau/Metabase, and through simple internal REST APIs.
- Develop specialized timeseries data, including USDe backing-asset and a full opportunity-surface timeseries for Delta-neutral/lending/borrow opportunities.
- Ingest data from additional sources (Kaiko, CoinAPI, on-chain via TheGraph/Dune). Plan for 10x+ data growth via schema evolution, partitioning, and performance tuning. Establish enterprise-grade governance, including a data quality framework, RBAC, audit logs, and a semantic layer.
- Create full architecture documentation, runbooks, and a data dictionary. Onboard and mentor future junior staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of delivering working, production data in weeks, not months, with the ability to ruthlessly cut scope to hit a 60-day MVP while managing technical debt.
- Have built Tardis historical and real-time pipelines before (or equivalent high-quality crypto market data feeds), understanding specific quirks, rate limits, and WebSocket structures.
- Expert in large-scale, reliable ETL/ELT for financial or market data.
- Fluent in provisioning full environments with Terraform in days and expert in AWS/GCP serverless technologies.
- Expert Python and SQL skills and proficiency with time-series databases like TimescaleDB or ClickHouse, ensuring fast queries from day one.
- Advanced knowledge of WebSocket clients, message queues, and low-latency streaming, GitOps, automated testing/deploy and observability practices.
- Significant understanding of stablecoins, lending protocols, and opportunity surface concepts, or a proven ability to ramp up extremely quickly.
Why Ethena Labs?
- You’d be joining a group that has well established itself as one of the most successful crypto-native company’s of all time, a group with a mission to revolutionise decentralised finance and it’s position in global finance.
