Job summary

Amazon is hiring Executive Operations Leaders for Memphis, TN and across the United States for our Fulfillment, Sortation, and Delivery networks within our Worldwide Operations.

Amazon Operation’s workflow has three major components: First mile – where the product is housed and ready for order; Middle mile – where the order is hauled to your area; and Last mile – when the product is delivered to the customer’s door. Please note that all workflows have slight building variations, but one thing is constant: our vision and dedication to the customer.

Amazon Worldwide Operations is highly complex and requires a leader who has experience in a high-volume manufacturing, operations, logistics, distribution environment along with advanced people leadership skills. You will lead a dynamic team of Operations and Area Managers to achieve operational excellence through coaching and mentoring the team and drive employee engagement within the building while maintaining a safety and quality focus.

The Executive Operations Leader at Amazon leads people, process and systems that deliver important products to our customers as promised. This role is challenging and appeals to people who have a foundation of customer obsession and innovation.

As a senior leader you will oversee upwards of 1,000+ salaried and hourly employees, in a fast-paced, complex operations facility up to 1.2 million square feet.

The Executive Operations Leader requires a detailed understanding and ability to balance every operational component of a facility from employee needs to IT, from robotics technology to process improvement. A successful executive will be able to provide strong vision and direction for the team, while fostering bottoms-up participation in process improvement from all levels of the organization.

Key job responsibilities

• Owns and delivers the operational budget for functional area, including safety, productivity, financial and labor planning, and operational goals for outbound or inbound operations.
• Responsible for providing strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, and 12 months out) including labor planning, rate forecasting, and peak season planning.
• Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity to meet and exceed business objectives.
• Works on strategic projects that have total building and network-wide impact. Effectively leverages the Operations and Area Managers to solicit ideas and understand problems and challenges in the building.
• Networks with other leaders across operations to solicit and share process improvements and drive efficiencies and cost savings.
• Establishes objectives and metrics for safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience.
• Sets clear goals and expectations for Operations and Area Managers. Measures performance, provides feedback, and holds leaders accountable.
• Mentors and develops leaders and staff.
• Participates in recruiting to identify and evaluate associates and internal/external candidates for promotion and hire.
• Works closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Maintenance Engineering, Safety, IT and other leaders) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or 2 years Amazon experience
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or other related experience
• Direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics environment
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean methodologies
• Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations

The Role

We are seeking a product manager to join the business during a time of rapid expansion. In this role, You will work remotely as part of a newly formed product and engineering team to port the WeMoney Android and iOS apps for the international market within the next six months.

Reporting to the VP Growth, You are responsible for planning the features of our core product, the WeMoney app. You perform competitor research, gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, and assist the executive team in defining the product vision. As the first senior product manager on Airbyte Cloud, you will work closely with both co-founders to define the product vision and strategy. Many companies are still stuck in the TV era (e.g. 1 big campaign per quarter) and not properly set up to handle the large-scale creative production required online, where hundreds of micro-campaigns and thousands of inidual assets are needed every month. Design and creative therefore often becomes a bottleneck in these marketing teams, reducing speed of execution and ultimately slowing company growth.

The Superside software and service helps them “un-bottleneck” creative, and ultimately lets the marketing team move much faster, knowing that with a Superside partnership there is almost no chance of missing a deadline. Everyone is working virtually together inside the SuperSpace app, our purpose-built internal creative operations system. Our TPD (Tech, Product and Design) team is remote and contains multiple self-directed and cross-functional teams fully distributed across EMEA. The members represent 14 nationalities with alumni from Adobe, Revolut, Yandex and Mail.ru. We are intellectually curious and creative thinkers, eager to grow and ready to make a big impact in the world. We analyse data, talk to users, prototype and iterate. We don’t need offices, our conversations happen in Google Meets and Slack. We focus on discovering and solving real-world user problems, not just building and shipping features. Teams at Superside own the complete software lifecycle starting from the roadmap, implementation, testing, deployment and operations. THE TECH PLATFORM WE ARE BUILDING

Superside is right now in a unique position to expand on existing deep customer relationships and we are gradually introducing a customizable creative operations system – specifically built for the large-scale enterprise use case. First iterations of many of these elements are already in place.

This “Creative OS” is structured around 4 distinct functional areas:

Drag&Drop Brief Editor: The customer can configure their own creative briefs per product and define rules for who should be allowed to submit projects.

Assignment, Planning & Project Management: The customer can create automatic assignment rules for incoming projects (e.g. all critical deadline projects should go to Superside) or decide on a per project basis inside the Superside PM tool who should do what. The customer can also plan campaigns, chat internally on an “Epic” level and manage their own non-Superside projects.

Project Execution, Design Commenting & Collaboration: The most important part of the Superside app is the actual project execution, where Superside should impose an opinionated process for how creative projects should be executed in various stages. Commenting by multiple team members should be made easy and centered around the creative use case.

Output, File Management & Result Measurement: Finally, all creative projects need to go where customers can see them, and Superside should make it easy to output projects to Digital Assets Managers, Marketing Clouds, Ad Servers or FB/Google ad managers. The dream is for Superside to eventually “close the loop” and link the actual project result performance back to the creative that has worked on the file.

Along every step of the 4-step framework the customer will also be given the opportunity to create workflows and automation. Inside the Superside’s workflow editor, the customer can break down complex projects into milestones, decision points and automated integrations (e.g. «add final file to DAM», «create Facebook ad-group using final output» or «push final file to email marketing software»). When the customer creates a new project, they select the right workflow template to get started. By automating the process, the customer is free from having to update old process documents and to know what to do when and. Work items are sent to the participants notifying them of what they have new to do, and integrations are executed automatically.

OUR TECH STACK

Superside’s backend is fully written in Kotlin and Spring, and our frontend is Typescript, React. We use Terraform to manage our infrastructures and deploy Docker containers to ECS, use Datadog and TrackJS for monitoring, and are using Gitlab as our DevOps/CICD platform.

Product at Brex

The Product organization identifies and scopes out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. Our Product Managers have a deep understanding of the business and are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams across the company around key decisions. They work most closely with the Engineering and Design teams to set a well thought-out product strategy and define a roadmap that ensures Brex's products continue to evolve for the benefit of our customers.

What you’ll do

As a senior member of the Product Management team at Brex, you will be responsible for owning the roadmap and strategy of your product line, aligning multiple teams and stakeholders, and creating product features, models and tools that enable our customers to easily utilize and enjoy Brex products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and other Product Managers across the organization, based in San Francisco, New York, and remote locations. The Opportunity

As the first product manager at Airbyte, you will work closely with both co-founders to define the product vision and strategy. You will work hand-in-hand with engineering and customer success leaders, in order to ensure the voice of the customer is at the foundation of our product roadmap and prioritization. You will help define our tracking system to support actual business cases, in addition to product and engineering processes.

Our product today manages millions of dollars of invoices and pays thousands of participants on both sides of the market. But, we have only scratched the surface in the space of products and experiences we could build, and we need your help.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager that's excited to be a generalist in our rapidly growing Marketplace. You will not be building things with the hope that people need it, but rather filling the desperate needs of our users while innovating in ways they didn't even know they needed. You'll have to be adaptable, learn quickly, and have a deep interest in understanding our business, our users, and our product.
