Crosslink introduces the Trailing Finality Layer, which ensures that once a block is finalized, it cannot be rolled back. This increases network security and enables new use cases such as safer cross-chain bridges and staking ZEC for protocol rewards. Crosslink will also lay the foundation for a future highly scalable Zcash protocol upgrade.

The engineer will focus on implementing and integrating Crosslink smoothly, minimizing disruption and ensuring the stability of the ecosystem while preserving existing use cases. Position Overview:

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals, building strong brand recognition, and implementing growth initiatives. Working closely with Leadership, Business Development, Product and Research teams, you will drive marketing initiatives that strengthens Chorus One’s position as a top player in the staking industry.

1. Drive Marketing Strategy

• Develop & Execute Strategy: Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Chorus One’s vision of becoming one of the top 3 institutional staking providers.
• Product Marketing: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to launch and promote new products, ensuring effective go-to-market (GTM) plans.
• Campaign Management: Coordinate with Business Development to organize key industry events and secure high-profile speaking engagements for leadership, ensuring measurable ROI from all marketing efforts.
• Market Insights: Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies and ensure Chorus One remains ahead of market shifts.

2. Drive Brand Awareness

• Brand Leadership: Build and position Chorus One as the most credible staking provider in the industry by ensuring that all marketing content and communication reflect the company’s values and unique propositions.
• Content & Social Media Strategy: Grow Chorus One’s community by expanding all social media followers and ensure consistent engagement across all channels. Work with the research team to generate significant engagement for our amazing research reports across social media platforms.
• Website & Brand Launches: Oversee the launch of a new website that accurately reflects the company’s offerings, alongside branding initiatives that differentiate Chorus One in a competitive landscape.

3. Accelerate Growth

• Customer Growth: Implement data-driven growth marketing campaigns that focus on acquiring and retaining customers. Develop scalable growth strategies to increase participation in staking services.
• Network Expansion: Develop and execute marketing plans to establish Chorus One as the community’s node operator of choice for upcoming networks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in senior marketing leadership roles, ideally within the blockchain ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the validator ecosystem.
• Expertise in content marketing, social media strategy, and thought leadership development.
• Experience in designing and executing growth marketing strategies with a measurable impact on user acquisition and retention.
• Data-driven approach to decision-making, with strong analytical skills to track and optimize marketing performance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor marketing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

The role

Are you the one? We’re seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead and mentor our SRE team. You’re a seasoned professional with a proven track record in designing and implementing robust SRE processes at scale. You excel in cloud and hybrid environments, have a deep understanding of containerization, and are passionate about creating resilient, high-performance systems that can handle extreme traffic peaks. Beyond technical expertise, you’re a skilled communicator and collaborator, able to bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders. You thrive in cross-functional environments and can effectively represent SRE concerns at the leadership level.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and refinement of SRE practices across the organization, including SLOs, error budgets, and blameless postmortems
• Design and implement automation to eliminate toil and improve system reliability and efficiency
• Lead initiatives and architect scalable hybrid cloud solutions for Web3 infrastructure
• Manage error budgets and make data-driven decisions about when to prioritize reliability vs. new features
• Drive SRE practices to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability under varying load conditions
• Collaborate closely with Platform engineering team to build reliability into services from the ground up
• Collaborate closely with Nethermind’s Infrastructure Leadership department to align SRE strategies with overall technical vision
• Drive the adoption of observability best practices and implement comprehensive monitoring systems
• Develop and maintain service level indicators (SLIs) and objectives (SLOs), working with product owners to define appropriate reliability targets
• Mentor team members in SRE practices and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Lead capacity planning efforts, using quantitative analysis to predict and address future scaling challenges
• Contribute to long-term technical roadmaps, balancing reliability concerns with product innovation

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps
• Expert knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, efficient, resilient systems
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking protocols
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go
• Strong background in monitoring, observability, and logging systems (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences
• Experience in producing technical documentation, runbooks, presentations, and post-mortem reports

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven Technical Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on involvement in the DeFi space, with a strong understanding of decentralized protocols and how they work.
• Crypto Native: Deep familiarity with the crypto ecosystem, culture, and technology. You are a passionate advocate for decentralization and have a native-level understanding of the space.
• Quantitative Mindset: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to critically evaluate DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and potential risks or inefficiencies.
• Educational Background: Strong background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred. A deep technical foundation is essential to success in this role.
• Research Skills: Proven ability to lead research efforts, analyze complex data sets and produce detailed, actionable reports on DeFi developments and strategies. Knowledge of Python or Node.js in support of this purpose is recommended.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

• Business Development or Growth Experience: Prior experience in business development, growth, or research within the DeFi or crypto space is highly valued.
• MEV Research: Applied research in Miner Extractable Value (MEV) and strategies for leveraging MEV opportunities is a strong plus.
• Technical Capabilities: Experience with breakdown and reverse engineering of transaction data and protocol functionality is a significant advantage.
• Coding Skills: Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is highly appreciated: Rust, Python, Solidity. Coding experience will enable you to contribute to the design and implementation of algorithmic strategies.
