As a DevRel Engineer at Fairblock, you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing a vibrant community of developers, engineers, and blockchain enthusiasts looking to build applications and protocols with encryption. Your primary focus will be on empowering developers to build with Fairblock by providing support, creating educational content, and fostering strong relationships within the community.

We are well funded having raised 2.5M from Galileo, Dialectic, Lemniscap, Chorus One, Robot Ventures, GSR, and others, and have already established impactful infrastructure, DeFi, and gaming relationships in the Cosmos and EVM ecosystem. The right hire will work closely with our co-founders and uniquely impact on the success and growth of Fairblock as we accelerate our integrations with thoughtfully planned go-to-market strategies before the mainnet launch.

TLDR:

To make encryption available everywhere, we have to make it fun, easily graspable, and approachable. You will be responsible for shepherding the adoption of onchain encryption and driving excitement from protocol and application developers to offer encryption optionality to their users. We’re in the business of standard-setting, and we believe we have the most accessible product possible to make encryption a standard onchain.

You will be in charge of improving the accessibility of Fairblock’s developer tools and documentation, coordinating hackathons, and building platforms to onboard more builders and encryption-enabled DeFi, Social, and Gaming applications.

Responsibilities:

• Developer support: Act as the first point of contact for external developers seeking help with our technology. Provide timely and effective support to resolve technical issues and answer questions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive, clear, and easy-to-understand documentation, tutorials, and guides to help developers leverage Fairblock’s tools and technology.
• Community Engagement: Participate in online forums, social media, and developer communities to engage with developers, understand their needs, and raise awareness about the power of programmable encryption in onchain apps.
• Content Creation: Develop technical blog posts, videos, workshops, documentation, and other content to educate and inspire developers on how to use our products effectively.
• Event Participation: Represent the company at developer conferences, meetups, and other events. Help organize and run workshops, hackathons, and other community events.
• Tool Development: Assist in the creation and maintenance of developer tools, SDKs, and APIs to simplify and enhance the developer experience.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Competent experience in Computer Science. Basic understanding of programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, Rust, etc.). Experience with Cosmos SDK is a plus.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and communities, particularly the EVM, Solana, and Cosmos ecosystems.

The role

We are looking for a data engineer to help design and scale our data infrastructure. We are a data-driven organization and view the data pipelines that influence these decisions as essential team infrastructure. Your role will include architecting and building that infrastructure as well as working with the data analysts who rely on the pipeline. Requirements

• 5+ years of executive or leadership level marketing experience
• 2+ years of experience in a crypto (DeFi preferably), or very related industry
• Ability to use your technical knowledge and deep understanding to collaborate with the technical product and sales team, and convey complex concepts to any audience
• Deep understanding of industry standard tools/tactics: Twitter, Discord, governance forums, IRL events

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills in Go and Python to design and develop detailed test automation, ensuring the quality of our blockchain, smart contracts, and dApps. • Strong writer that can convert technical research in to more digestible public facing writings

Who Are We?

DV labs is a remote-first research and software development team focused on Proof of Stake infrastructure for public blockchain networks. Specific topics of focus are Internet Bonds, Distributed Validator Technology, and Multi-Operator Validation. The core team includes +30 members spread across +15 countries.

The core team is building the Network, a protocol to foster trust-minimized staking through multi-operator validation. This will enable low-trust access to Ethereum staking yield, which can be used as a core building block in various Web3 products.

The Network

The network can be best visualized as a work layer that sits directly on top of the base layer consensus. This work layer is designed to provide the base layer with more resiliency and decentralization as it scales. In this chapter of Ethereum, we will move on to the next great scaling challenge, which is stake centralization. Layers like DV Labs are critical to the long-term viability and resiliency of public networks, especially networks like Ethereum.

DV Labs as a layer is focused on scaling main chain staking by providing permissionless access to Distributed Validators. The network utilizes a middleware implementation of Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), to enable the operation of distributed validator clusters that can preserve validators’ current client and remote signing configurations.

Similar to how roll-up technology laid the foundation for L2 scaling implementations, we believe DVT will do the same for scaling the consensus layer while preserving decentralization. Staking infrastructure is entering its protocol phase of evolution, which must include trust-minimized staking networks that can be plugged into at scale. We believe DVT will evolve into a widely used primitive and will ensure the security, resiliency, and decentralization of public networks.

The Network develops and maintains three core public goods that will eventually work together through circular economics:

The DV Launchpad, a User Interface for bootstrapping and managing Distributed Validators

Charon, a Golang based middleware client that enables validators to run in a fault-tolerant, distributed manner.

Obol Splits, a set of solidity contracts for the formation of Distributed Validators tailored to different use cases such as DeFi, Liquid Staking, and Fractionalized Deposits.

Dv labs is inspired by previous work on Ethereum public goods and experimenting with circular economics. Mission of the role

We are looking for a Chief Product Officer that can, with the support of the executive team, define and drive Obol´s product strategy.

Responsible for the Product Vision, Direction, Roadmap and Communication of DV Labs. The next phase of GTM execution should be a collective effort between Product, Business, and Growth to capture the market that we have created.

Responsibilities:

• Own and drive DV Lab’s product vision & strategy to enable growth & success. Scale and lead our product & design organization while maintaining a high-performing culture.
• Oversee the company’s entire product suite Act as a counterpart for our CTO and provide the Roadmap definition. Define “what are we building” and “why are we building it”.
• Focus on the software products and services offered by DV Labs. Translate the product roadmap and the steps taken by the product team into board-level appropriate communication.
• Lead the design of node operator tooling and its accompanying developer experience to enable the deployment of DVs across retail to enterprise deployment environments. (E.g. Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, Ansible and Docker based products).
• Refine and further develop our Solidity products to facilitate the seamless incorporation of DVs into existing Ethereum protocols.
• Develop best-in-class onboarding flows for UI and programmatic creation of distributed validators (e.g. DV Launchpad, Obol SDK, Obol API).
