Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, and engaged Manager to join our Finance  team. As one of the first members of the Finance org, you will have the opportunity to build and establish processes for all areas of ownership. In this role, you will play a key role in equity & debt raises, own the company-wide model and budget, and partner with all aspects of the business. You should have the ability to lead cross-functional projects, communicate effectively and efficiently, and be excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will report directly to the VP of Finance. 

 

What You’ll Do

• Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue and KPI reporting for the entire org
• Maintenance of both the annual and long-term company plans and cash flow forecasts
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasts, and scenario planning
• Play a key role in future equity and debt raises
• Manage reporting and other ad hoc requests for investors and other partners, including board meetings
• Be a strategic business partner to the GTM teams to provide insight, analysis, and support on performance to plan, pricing, deal reviews, commission planning and goal setting, and any ad hoc requests they have
• Develop analysis across segments to understand trends and identify areas of opportunity and risk

Salary information: The estimated base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $160,000 USD. Additionally, we offer a competitive equity package and comprehensive benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience and location.

Minimum Requirements/Qualification:

• BA or BS degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 2-4+ years of experience in a legal, compliance, finance, operations, project management, or analyst role.
• 2-4+ years of experience in contract management, e-billing and matter management, content management platforms is preferred (DocuSign CLM is a plus).

Secure regulatory approval of insurance contracts and other forms in compliance with state insurance laws and regulations and plan of operations filings in California and New York. The Contributions You’ll Make:

Product Filing Experience – required

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate or post-graduate studies in business administration, insurance or other related area preferred.

License/Certification/Designation: Certification in paralegal studies preferred.

Experience: Typically, eight or more years of experience as a paralegal with demonstrated good performance.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Advanced knowledge of paralegal concepts, practices and procedures. Significant knowledge of the operations, practices and procedures of general counsel or civil litigation, depending on area of specialty. Senior Legal Counsel

We are looking for a creative and pragmatic problem solver to serve as our first legal counsel reporting to the CFO. You will work cross-functionally with multiple departments and with roles at all levels to provide general support on legal issues. What you’ll be doing

• Review, interpret, draft, revise, and negotiate contract terms for outbound customer contracts in an expeditious manner while also protecting the business’ interests
• Review, interpret, draft, revise, and negotiate contract terms for inbound vendor contracts in an expeditious manner while also protecting the business’ interests.
• Review and negotiate various other legal documents, and provide strategic legal advice, in support of other company initiatives (e.g., partner program, product releases and integrations, marketing agreements, etc.).
• Provide creative, flexible and proactive advice on a broad range of compliance areas for multiple jurisdictions, such as consumer protection and privacy
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and risk management policies in order to minimize and limit corporate liability, manage risk, and optimize value of contracts.
• Identify contractual risks and issues and suggest alternatives that lead to optimal solutions.
• You’ll also work closely with the sales team to ensure transactions help achieve business goals within acceptable risk tolerances and follow corporate guidelines.
