What is the role?

The Growth group is looking for a Software Engineer in a full stack capacity. We are happy to consider candidates with particular expertise in either the frontend or the backend, but are prioritizing candidates who are comfortable delivering full-stack features both autonomously and in close collaboration with fellow engineers and cross-functional counterparts.

Growth works to identify and implement features and product improvements that increase Teachable’s paying subscriber base. We rapidly deliver new functionality within the core product to boost the value creators derive from Teachable. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for taking ownership of Growth projects spanning the entire software development lifecycle. You’ll design and build new products, improve legacy functionality and code, contribute to new microservice applications, and be a vocal contributor to cross-organizational technical initiatives.

• Partner with engineers on the pod and throughout the organization, product managers, and designers to build high-quality, scalable products.
• Strategically support a mindful migration from our existing monolithic application to a microservices architecture. There are a lot of big technical projects Teachable is working through, and Growth Engineering team members are often heavily involved.
• Constantly “leave it better than how you found it” mentality and are willing to work in and improve legacy code that you did not originally write.

About You:

• 2+ years of hands-on full stack experience building production web applications
• You are comfortable working in a continuous delivery environment, and are able to (or are interested in learning about how to) maintain CI/CD pipelines
• You possess (or are interested in learning) lightweight DevOps skills in order to work in/deliver new microservices and/or micro-frontends semi-autonomously in partnership with
• infrastructure engineers.
• Expert knowledge building and maintaining scalable and reliable full stack applications, using modern programming languages (e.g. Ruby, Python, Java, Scala, GoLang, Javascript, TypeScript, etc.)
• Experience analyzing, designing, and evolving RESTful APIs

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Ethereum software engineering team focusing on automation of validator infrastructure and building great staking products. Requirements:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Ethereum software engineering team focusing on automation of validator infrastructure and building great staking products. OPUS is our product suite which offers a one-stop-shop product for staking Ethereum. Requirements

• Desirable qualifications: 3+ years of experience working as a staff software engineer (7+ years of total software development experience) with an expertise in front-end development.

• Must have proven experience building microservices and the expertise and ability to mentor in their design.
• Required skills: Expertise and experience building Frontend applications written in React and Typescript
• Required: Be sure to have technical expertise and hands on experience with Nextjs, Graphql & modern CI/CD pipelines

• Experience working independently in full stack projects, including tertiary skills such as security, design patterns, database architecture, etc.
• Experience mentoring others on your team
• Experience doing long-term planning to create sustainability both in new development and in proactively addressing upcoming issues in existing systems. Emphasis in architecting self healing systems and features

The expected total compensation range for this position is $150k – $180k.

Lesser experience may result in lower compensation and greater experience may result in greater compensation than the stated range.

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to help grow our APIs team. The teams mission is to implement required business logic and APIs that allow users to stake and unstake their tokens on a variety of networks. Figment offers various staking/unstaking products on the Ethereum network and a portion of our teams responsibility lies in developing, understanding, and integrating with smart contracts on Ethereum.

We are looking for a seasoned principal engineer with a strong Ruby on Rails background and Solidity development experience. In this role, you will be responsible for different projects, leading or collaborating with other engineers on the team, participating in architectural decisions, and communicating your ideas with Product and Engineering managers.

This is a full-time remote position, for candidates in North American time zones (+1/-1). If you enjoy working on a dynamic and collaborative team with lots of opportunities to learn and drive impactful business outcomes, then this role may be a good fit for you. Ideal candidates are comfortable working in an unstructured environment, dealing with uncertainty, minimal direction, and working across a range of projects while demonstrating a strong sense of ownership.
