Hey designers! We're currently looking for someone who can design a customer-facing frontend for our ticketing system (IT service requests) that fits in the style of our already-existing frontend.

This mainly includes two views (so far)

• An overview of tickets (a "heavy table" view for regular users – basically a card view – and more efficient more regular table view for the superiors that can see all tickets). The "heavy table" view should show if a user is a Collaborator (effectively if they're in Cc), or if they're the owner of the ticket

• The overview should have menu items to see open + closed requests separately.

About the Program:

Every year, Ideate Labs sponsors 2 UX apprentices to join our 4-Month Live UX cohort that takes place in the fall and spring seasons. Our UX apprentices join our cohort and work through the end-to-end UX design and UX research process for a startup idea of their choice that will help them attract hiring managers in that topic space or industry.

Apprentices take our program for free and receive 1:1 mentorship throughout the 4-month program, as well as 1:1 UX career coaching support for up to 3 months after the program ends. Alumni UX apprentices go on to make between $85,000 -$150,000 in UX design, product design, UX research, or service design roles after they complete the program.

Apprenticeship Requirements:

This apprenticeship program is open to new grads and UX career changers alike! Here are some apprenticeship requirements to keep in mind before applying:

• Interested in UX career paths in UX research, UX design, product design or service design
• Willing to commit 5-10 hours of work per week to complete program deliverables
• Willing to attend 2-3 hour weekend lectures to learn the end-to-end design process

While this project is fairly open in terms of delivery format, having these elements will be helpful for understanding your creative vision and choices:

• Med-Fi homepage design in Figma

  • This can be a simplified version of a homepage just to get the concept across. Important areas include: really strong hero/above-the-fold, social proof, section explaining the platform, call to action and form.

  • Feel free to use copy/content/visuals from our current site, but I’d rather see complete freedom in expressing who we are and what we do.

  • No need for design system creation or compliance

• A creative approach that accomplishes goals in service to our brand:

  • Easier to interact with and understand

  • Feels less corporate and more real / human

  • Embraces design in the same way Nextiva thinks… Fearlessly

  • Is focused on the core value customers get from the platform and our service

  • Clearly separates us from the pack of competitors

  • Blue is our color. We’ve had several iterations of blue, and plenty of other colors are welcome to join; but we will always bleed blue.

  • Our logo and XBert icon are locked in place. We have a few iterations of each, but in general, messing with these will cause more friction than opportunity.

  • I’d recommend sticking with our font, Söhne (test font here).  Weights can be used as you’d like, but using this font will help avoid distraction from the rest of the design language built.

As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for an experienced Smart Contracts Engineer to do vulnerability research in RootstockLabs projects, research attack and defense techniques, and develop innovative tools to help automate detection and response tasks. You will also work in close collaboration with internal development teams and members of the ecosystem to develop new capabilities to improve security of the public p2p network, its users, and the company's infrastructure. You will work alongside blockchain gurus and smart open-minded ‘Rooties’ across cross-functional teams, working in web3 and on the cutting edge of technology.What You’ll be Doing* Actively participating during the product design phases, analyzing requirements and proposing secure, innovative and alternative solutions* Performing source code audit and PR security reviews in alignment with organisation needs* Discovering vulnerabilities, developing PoC and helping with the remediation* Conducting research on vulnerabilities and attack techniques* Interacting with internal teams, contributing to the secure design of new products and featuresWhat You’ll Bring to the Table* 2+ years of work experience reviewing Smart Contracts and 5+ years of work experience as Application Security Engineer or Security Researcher* Proven experience in performing source code security audits, threat modeling and architectural security reviews (Providing links to public reports or projects demonstrating previous audit work is a must)* Proficiency in identifying and remedying common security vulnerabilities in code* Knowledge of various attack vectors and methods of exploiting vulnerabilities* Familiarity with the software development life cycle and ability to integrate security into the process* Cryptography knowledge* Knowledge of Blockchain with the ability to explain and work in all the different layers.* Coding skills in Solidity, Javascript and React* Experience conducting vulnerability research* Comprehensive knowledge of application security principles, including threat modeling and risk assessment* Bi-lingual Spanish & English a plus but not a deal breaker!What You’ll Get Back!* Competitive salary* 100% remote working (contractor) from anywhere in the world* Possibility to work at your nearest WeWork space* Flexible working hours.
