About the Role

CharterUP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect, implement, and own a wide variety of customer-facing and back-office software systems powering our two-sided marketplace business. About the Role:

Overview

We’re hiring a Chief Blockchain Architect to design and deliver a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain. You’ll be responsible for architecting and implementing high-performance distributed systems, capable of handling millions of transactions with sub-second finality.

This is a hands-on architect role: you must be able to design from first principles, build core consensus and execution logic in Rust, and either develop a new L1 or fork and evolve an existing high-performance chain such as Sui.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 8–12+ years in systems programming, blockchain infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering.
