**What We Are Looking For

Your job would involve several engineering projects. We maintain a mobile app for one of our clients and you would be the lead engineer managing all aspects of feature development, bug fixing, performance optimization, reliability engineering and similar activities for the iOS mobile application. We are seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This candidate will be responsible for writing backend Microservices to facilitate AI/ML pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with proficiency in Go (Golang) programming language. In addition, we are looking for someone who can build out the infrastructure for business intelligence and data analytics, so we can create a robust and broadly encompassing dashboard that constantly displays and updates metrics about Try-On performance, revenue generation, GPU usage / optimization, support response times, etc. This candidate should also possess a solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes services, API and backend integration, and be committed to following best practices in back end development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using Go (Golang).
• Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functioning features.
• Implement robust backend services and APIs to power web applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Apply best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.
• Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning within the engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience of 5+ years as a Backend Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Proficient Go (Golang) for backend development.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Distributed Systems
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and experience with deployment and management of applications in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), web servers, and UI/UX design.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools is highly desirable.
• Experience with Python, JS, SQL, ETL processes, and experience with PowerBI, Snowflake or others (i.e., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Proficient in React.js is a nice-to-have
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote or onsite team setting.
