About Nethermind Research Nethermind Research is the research arm of Nethermind that covers multiple R&D areas, like

Cryptography. Our work mostly focuses on topics related to zero-knowledge proofs and how to make them more secure and efficient. Our recent efforts are centered around folding schemes and cryptographic primitives for ML. ZK engineering. Our zk engineering team works on optimizing zkVMs, builds proof of concepts for the research team and pushes the envelope in the efficient and secure zk implementations. Protocol research. Our protocol research team specializes in L1 and L2 designs and topics like preconfirmations, based rollups, zk rollups and all related research areas like incentivizations, auctions, game theory, consensus research. DeFi research. Our DeFi research team works on tokenomics, advises on RWA and prepares market analyses for company’s clients and stakeholders.
