The role  

As a Strategy & Operations Manager, you will partner closely with our CEO to operate Fieldguide with stage-appropriate processes, technology, and people. You will ensure that all trains leave on time or faster, so that the organization as a whole exceeds goals. The role  

As Enterprise Account Executive, you will be an integral, early member of our go-to-market (GTM) team, working directly with our CEO and GTM advisors to make significant impacts in building our sales function.

Dan founded Fair Square Medicare after watching his parents struggle through the Medicare shopping process. He previously was the technical co-founder at Trim (post Series A; valued @ > $30M), Octane Lending (Growth stage, valued @ > $300M) and has held product and growth roles at Redfin, the Climate Corp, and AppDynamics. He studied Physics at Yale.

Chris

Chris is the health insurance agent Dan's parent's found after a long and painful search. They love him. He's helped thousands of seniors across the U.S. navigate the minefield of Medicare. His core value: \"treat clients as if they're your family\".

Tej

Tej is Fair Square Medicare's head of growth. He joined after completing a stint in Bain's Private Equity Group, running a \"nothing to sneeze at\" house flipping business, and studying CS at Washington University in St. Louis.

Ben

Ben is Fair Square Medicare's Head of Partnerships. He previously founded The Civic Group (a Real Estate Private Equity company with $13M AUM), and ExpertArmada (a legal-tech company with $40,000 ARR). Prior to that, he worked in product and management roles at Bridgewater Associates. He is a licensed attorney in CA, and studied Government at Dartmouth.

What you’ll do

Owning direct strategy pieces and the key metrics that feed them. An example of a “strategy piece” you could own would be our employee performance assessment methodology.

Tackling a variety of problem solving challenges across core business functions, from problem identification to solution implementation. These challenges could be anything from persistent payroll issues to unreliable revenue forecasts. Solutions may involve implementing a new HR/payroll system in the former case, and a new forecast model in the latter.

Acting as a culture carrier. We're a team of growth minded, first principles thinkers building healthcare solutions for our parents. We love working together and want you to feel the same!

Who you are

Proficient in SQL and highly analytical. You love digging into data to uncover insights and can clearly communicate them to stakeholders. Bonus points for experience with Python or R.

Excellent written and verbal communication. You’re no stranger to drafting emails or Slack messages to announce a new process or feature. You’re comfortable explaining a problem and proposing a solution in a group setting.

Strong attention to detail. You gut check all of your work and find errors or issues with an analysis before others do.

Experience in growth/ops at fast-pace startups or at a top management consulting firm is a plus. You should be very comfortable working in ambiguity and confident at managing several projects simultaneously.
