About the Role (Mission of the role):

The General Manager’s mission is driving sustainable, profitable growth at RapidSeedbox and leading day-to-day operations. This includes full P&L accountability, team leadership, and delivery of strategic goals.

In this hybrid sales and accounting role, you’ll be working directly with clients to review their crypto activity, prepare accurate tax reports, and create outstanding client outcomes.

As a Crypto Reconciliation Specialist (CRS), your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting intake calls with new clients and selling them on the DFY service
• Reconciling client transaction histories using your pre-existing knowledge + skills, all available tools at your disposal, and any other resources necessary to accomplish an accurate reconciliation
• Analyzing transaction histories across wallets and exchanges
• Reading the blockchain to determine the proper classification for taxable events
• Using CoinLedger and other tools as necessary to import, reconcile, and classify clients crypto data
• Preparing clients crypto tax reports
• Escalating feedback on the CoinLedger product + collaborating across teams to improve the UX for CoinLedger users and clients

About the Role

The Corporate Controller is a pivotal role at Athelas + Commure. Our vision is that after two to three years, you will have built the financial systems, controls, documentation, and reporting cadence for us to operate as a public company. Delivering this goal will require technical skills, comfort with ambiguity, a growth mindset, tenacity, cross-functional empathy, and an ability to recruit, build, and manage a world class accounting organization. This role reports to the Head of Finance and is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations adherence to new accounting standards, external audit, accounting systems, and financial reporting.

What You'll Do

Direct day-to-day accounting operations including execution of accounting policy, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, international accounting, revenue recognition under AS606, tax, treasury, and stock administration and equity accounting

Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and reporting processes including detailed analysis and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts and preparation of financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP

Analyze accounts and suggest improvements to reduce costs, increase efficiency, remove manual touchpoints, and increase profit

Assist with monthly and quarterly management and board reporting packages

What You Have

10+ years of technical and operational accounting experience in a high-growth, unstructured environment involving M&A
\

*

An active CPA license

An eagerness to flex between operating at the journal entry level while thinking strategically about the future of the accounting team and company as a whole

A history of scaling accounting operations in a private and public company setting
