Your First 90 Days 

In your First 30 Days, you will immerse yourself in our virtual onboarding program, learning our culture, our product and its technology stack. You will attend our immersive courses to come up to speed on product features. As a Team Lead, you will work with our other Leads and our lead architects to understand our product architecture, standards, and development tools. You will collaborate with our Vice President of Product Development to understand and refine the currently defined technical roadmap that takes scalability, testing, and performance into account and present a gap analysis of what can be done even better. Finally, you will work within the framework of our efficient and effective SDLC process.  

In your First 60 Days, you will start working with your team to create and work on a backlog of product features and technical infrastructure work that was identified in your first 30 days, including the adoption of newly identified technologies for our upcoming product deliverables. In collaboration with Product Management, you will co-create a backlog of work to systematically add new features from which the entire team can pull work items.  

By Day 90, you will play an integral role in delivering our roadmap deliverables. You will evolve and uplift our tech stack by advancing our technical roadmap and executing future deliveries. You will mentor and train other development team members as well as play a meaningful role in hiring future members of our Engineering team. 

Who You Are

The salary range for this opportunity is $160,000 - $175,000 per year. What we do 

The SRTE team is part ofSymbotic’sOperations organization, responsible for system readiness and validation at new customer sites and existing sites. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Involved in various aspects of the product design process including, but not limited to the development of part geometry, assembly designs and drawing generation. Design work varies from new product development to product enhancements and cost reduction activities. Develops and distributes engineering data in the form of Engineering Change Notices, bills of material and parts tracking. Collaborates with vendor partners.
• Designs parts, identifies finishing requirements for, and works with tooling vendors for numerous manufacturing methods including: progressive die sheet metal tooling, fabricated sheet metal and brake forming, aluminum and zinc die casting, aluminum and plastic extrusions, plastic injection molding, and spinning.
• Works with internal manufacturing facilities and external vendors to resolve part or assembly issues, deviation requests and bill of material corrections. Participates in pilot/preproduction runs, first article inspections, tool run-offs and plans for production release. Ensures all concepts are manufacturable with corresponding methods utilized in the appropriate manufacturing facility.
• Attends team meetings using the product delivery system (stage gate product development) for each major product.
• Plans and coordinates certification and validation test plans. Submits test requests and works directly with testing groups as necessary for product evaluation. Submits prototyping requests and works directly with internal and external prototype suppliers for production of prototype components and assemblies. Reviews functional specifications, project charters and competitor's samples.

• Proficiency of 3D CAD and Microsoft Office programs required; SolidWorks software proficiency and CAD data management experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform analyses on radioisotopes (specifically radiometals) using ICP-MS, HPGe, radio TLC, and other modalities as deemed necessary.   Experience with HPGe is particularly desirable.
• Assist in the technology transfer of analysis methods for radioisotope production.
• Work directly with production teams to schedule testing based on production needs.
• Perform analysis of finished radiopharmaceutical products as deemed necessary.
• Assist in writing and reviewing of laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and related documents.
• Assist with the routine calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment and materials, and provide support for qualification and maintenance activities.    On-board new instrumentation as required.
