The Role

We have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer in Test to take the Lead Role in our Automation Strategy and Implementation.

This is a pivotal role that genuinely offers an exciting opportunity to focus on taking the Test Automation Framework to the next level, make strategic decisions, think critically and most importantly get things done.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain an Automation Test Strategy
• Design, plan, implement, and automate test plans along with the engineering team.
• Use and enhance the Testing Frameworks for both API and UI type tests, to write Automation Tests and integrate with existing CI/CD tools.

• 5+ years experience with test plan/test case authoring, developing automated tests and creating defect tickets when issues are found.

What we’re looking for in you:

Minimal qualifications:

• BS degree in engineering or technical field with 5 years or MS degree and 3 years relevant experience.

As a member of the Triskele Labs Penetration Testing team, you will have a sound knowledge of the Information Securityindustry, in particular Penetration Testing practices. Penetration Testers conduct Penetration Testing of client assets, networks, applications, and infrastructure, to identify vulnerabilities and security flaws within the scope of an engagement. Responsibilities

• Own the design, implementation, and roll-out of our selected test automation framework (Playwright)

You will:

• Drive the creation of test plans and implement scalable QA strategies

• Be the go-to person for manual testing on our web applications and mobile SDKs

• Execute manual QA processes throughout various development phases (regression, exploratory testing, new feature testing, etc.) to ensure delivery of predictable, high-quality product releases

• Create detailed, reproducible bug reports

An ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of experience in a manual QA role

• Ability to create test cases, define testing strategies, and identify high-risk areas

• Ability to identify and prioritize bugs

• Ability to obtain web browser logs, screenshots, and video capture to assist with bug investigations

• Ability to utilize tools like postman and git to perform day-to-day effectively

Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (MetaMask Snaps)

Location: GLOBAL – REMOTE

MetaMask Snaps is the next phase in MetaMask’s evolution. Currently available via MetaMask Flask, our developer preview build, it allows MetaMask, our partners, and the entire web3 community to add radical new functionality to MetaMask.

Install MetaMask Flask and check out live examples like Bitcoin, Filecoin, and a password manager. We aim to make adding entirely new networks and use cases as easy as it is to write a Dapp today.

About the Role

We are looking for highly motivated quality assurance engineers to assist us in building these Snaps quickly, while maintaining the high level of quality that our users expect. You should be proficient with test automation as well as manual testing approaches. In this role, you will ensure that MetaMask continues to support our mission of democratizing access to the decentralized web.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of software testing experience
• Demonstrated interest or experience with blockchain related development and web3 technologies through any of: work experience, hackathons, open source work, personal projects, or similar experiences.
• Familiarity with agile processes (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Perform features analysis to create detailed test plans and test cases
• Perform testing, triage test failures and report bugs
• Write automated end-to-end tests
• Be a voice for quality, stability, and security in our product development and release processes
• Experience establishing and maintaining QA processes and practices
• Pull request review from a QA perspective
• Proactive and self-driven to be successful working in a remote environment
• Are kind, empathetic, and supportive towards the team
• Bring hustle, enthusiasm, heart and a love of shipping bug free software to their work
• Timezone: Ideally between PT and ET, if in EU/UK you are able to have ~4 hours overlap with continental US time zones.

Role Requirements

As a Quality Assurance Engineer on this team, you would contribute in the following areas:

• Develop and automate tests for an evolving MetaMask extension API
• Create test plans and test reports for all Snaps in general as well as specializations for inidual Snaps
• Develop tests for a growing set of specific extensions which consume the above API
• Coordinate across teams with separate release cycles to perform acceptance and regression testing.
• Building a deep understanding of our users and existing products.

Conversa Health is helping to fundamentally transform healthcare from reactive to proactive by partnering with health systems and other healthcare organizations who use our Automated Virtual Care & Triage platform to improve patient care and health. We have a library of programs – ranging from chronic care management to post-acute, perioperative, pre and post procedure, cancer, new parents, etc.- that guide patients on evidence-based pathways to better health outcomes. The magic that makes this work are the automated, personalized digital conversations ( chats ) that are designed to maximize engagement, collect valuable patient-generated health data (PGHD), analyze that data, and use it to drive positive behaviors/actions.

Brief Overview:

Quality in delivery and execution is at the heart of what we do. The stakes are even higher for platforms like Conversa, which directly support at-risk patients to support them towards healthier outcomes. In this role, you’ll be ensuring that our delivery practices have validation of quality as a primary goal both in evidence reporting as a consequence of development practices, but also through the implementation of automated quality checks that reduce manual efforts and halt releases based on lack of adherence to platform KPIs. We work in a highly regulated environment, where there is a lot of inherent skepticism and traditional bias on the ability to remove the human element from proving safety around interacting with patients and shaping their personal health journey we want to change that with your help.

Core Responsibilities:

• Development of test strategy, and aligned test plans for the various components of the core Conversa platform
• Develop unique test strategies in conjunction with custom client implementations
• Influence engineering practices to continuously reflect best practices for quality engineering
• Design and implementation of test automation scripts for functional and integration tests
• Incorporate test execution results into core build/release processes
• Works closely with the development team to incorporate test efforts into a delivery plan
• Supports quality coverage and conformance reporting for releases
• Develops and manages public platform KPIs and adherence plan

• You raise the engineering team’s awareness and focus on quality engineering on a daily basis
• Act as a quality ‘spirit guide’ to your peers and organization at large

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software test planning and execution
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience with functional test automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
• Experience with API-based testing (endpoint execution and model conformance)
• Experience and knowledge of load testing tools and strategies, and performance test strategies
• Knowledge of dynamic security testing approaches and tools (PEN testing)
• Experience with exploratory and negative/boundary testing strategies
