What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced Backend QA Engineer to join our team at Drest Ltd.. Reporting to the Lead QA, you will participate in the planning and execution of functional and integration tests that build confidence and reduce risk while maintaining and increasing the quality of our releases. As part of an embedded QA team you will support your teammates whether they’re product owners, engineers or other stakeholders to drive and support the quality of Drest.

You will be working in an Agile manner testing user stories and tasks as well as communicating with your team to ensure that all backend systems are working as expected.

Diligent, driven and self-disciplined you have solid communication skills and will put yourself in the shoes of our users to flag issues in testing before those are experienced by our players on the live product.

You have confidence in your skills in Quality Assurance testing/engineering but are eager to learn more.

What you will do..

• Work in an agile environment, being involved in stand-ups, planning, refinement, retros, etc.
• Work with a cross-functional team to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.
• Proactively collaborate with all the team members to continuously improve and evolve testing processes and code.
• Work closely with Developers to ensure test coverage is met.
• Define test plans, carrying out testing of user-stories and reporting any bugs discovered.
• Share your skills and experience with your peers.

 

What you will bring..

• Experience as a Backend QA engineer at a Mid to Senior level of experience (minimum of 3 years).
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience testing GraphQL queries/mutations.
• Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of QA processes and testing terminology.
• Extensive understanding of source control management, build processes, test environments and frequent code release deployment QA support activities.
• Working experience with industry-standard bug reporting software such as JIRA.

The job

Wisetack is looking for a QA Lead to be an early foundational member of our QA Team

Responsibilities

• • Design detailed test plans based on product requirements and interviews with Product and Engineering
  • Coordinate and lead testing activities with off-shore team members
  • Communicate the status of testing to the stakeholders, provide them with detailed feedback for ongoing projects
  • Contribute to release documentation to certify the test results and the quality of the testing activities

THE ROLE 🤩

We are looking for a Mobile QA Engineer to join Treecard. You will be embedded into one of our engineering teams, and will take complete ownership over QA for that team. This encompasses everything from writing tests during the development process, through to coordinating app release, all the way through to triaging and fixing bugs. The Day-to-Day

• You actively participate in the refinement sessions for new features or improvements to existing ones. You get rid of ambiguity by asking clear questions and making sure the requirements are crystal clear.
• You document the outcome of that meetings by writing clear acceptance criteria so everybody is aligned on what customers can expect from the feature.
• Together with the engineering team, you make sure the features are covered by automated tests where possible.
• While you trust the work of your team, you'll still go over the implementation to see if there are any defects and report them back to the team.
• You keep an eye on our automated tests to spot regression issues and coördinate fixing them together with the team.
• When bugs come in via our CSM team, you try to reproduce them and make sure the team has all the information needed to find the root cause and fix the bug. You push them to make sure the bug can't pop up again in the future by introducing additional tests.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you play an important role in ActivTrak's product development and support processes. Senior QA Engineer responsibilities include leading and mentoring less experienced testers, testing new features, building and maintaining our automated test pipeline, designing and implementing test plans, working with developers in debugging and taking corrective actions, regression testing, and communicating testing coverage and bugs found to stakeholders. • 2+ years experience with BDD, and TDD, Gherkin, Cucumber, Behat, Codeception, Selenium UI testing, writing test cases for API's

About Our Development Team

Our Engineering team’s mission is to promote a data-driven decision-making culture to solve homelessness. We do this by combining a team of experts in development, analytics, database infrastructure, and integration with social services experience. Success/Impact Statement

The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer plays a key role in Bitfocus’ product development process and is responsible for defining and maintaining the overall QA testing strategy for all Bitfocus development initiatives. This includes creating both manual and automated testing strategies, using industry best-of-breed functional and automated testing tools, and tracking key QA metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts). The ideal candidate will possess expert level knowledge and experience with QA testing automation processes and have previously participated in the design and development of an enterprise level application testing automation infrastructure.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, You Will:

• Act as QA Team lead and testing methodology architect
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Review manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the project team
• Support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation related activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing (both visual and functional)
• Review user stories and functional requirements for test planning and QA feedback
• Assist with manual testing; execute manual test cases and scripts for products under development using test management/tracking tools
• Create and maintain test plans, cases, scenarios/scripts, in compliance with company defined QA standards and methodologies
• Establish and configure testing environments for executing test cases and scenarios
• Participate in the development, deployment, and administration of QA process, tools, and supporting technologies
