The Teacher is a highly qualified, state certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. Teachers provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ inidual needs. Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Mandatory Requirements…

• An active, verifiable General Science teaching certification in the United States. You must be either already certified or willing to undergo reciprocity in one of the states listed above.

Position Summary

The Instructional Designer will partner with Harmony Academy staff (content and instructional designers) to support a series of high-priority projects, including creating content and building modules and courses for the proposed Teacher, Leader, and School Certificates in D2L Brightspace for both asynchronous learning.

This is a part-time contractor position.

• Work with Content team leaders and Technology teamto finalize key features and a structure for the format of modules and courses.

Job Summary:

The TESOL Technical Officer II is a member of the Access Teacher Engagement Team reporting to the Project Manager. The TESOL Technical Officer II will oversee a team of in-country teacher training consultants and collaborate with ECA/A/L to provide technical support in the development and delivery of regional teacher training activities and resources to support Access teachers in planning and facilitating lessons aligned with identified U.S. public diplomacy goals. Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience designing educator-focused training content and/or conducting teacher trainings with an ESL/EFL focus, including in-person, online, hybrid or blended learning environments. 6-8 years of experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with word processing software, Microsoft Excel, survey software and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms) required. Experience with SharePoint preferred.
• Experience with intellectual property and licensing considerations in the educational context preferred; in particular, experience with open licensing using Creative Commons licenses.

• In addition to teaching time, this role pays for administrative time, preparation duties, and training and development.

To make the pay as simple as possible, we have broken it down for you!

We are paying$35/hrfor remarkable teachers to deliver high-quality Mathinstruction to a range of schools in the state ofAlabama.On top of the$35/hr, you will receiveadministrative pay for work done outside of the classroom (e.g. preparing, grading, and collaborating). We also offer professional development, paid onboarding, and discretionary stipends.

Please remember this is a 1099contractposition requiring tech savviness, open availability during the regular school day, and a love for teaching!

What You’ll Do

Part-Time Math Tutors manage a small caseload of students and promote academic success by focusing intently on providing high-dosage, high-impact tutoring that includes daily inidualized instruction to students during the school day. During a typical school day, tutors will work remotely with students during multiple class periods, sometimes across multiple schools, and facilitate lessons using Saga Connect and/or platforms provided by the district. Amplify Tutors engage with students virtually in real-time. Responsibilities

• Live video calls each week to assess students work to CGS standards and provide guidance and advice related to their career of study.
• Provide an additional mid-weekly review recorded (ie non-live) via video of students’ assignments
• Help troubleshoot student work both creatively and technically
• Collaborate with the department head, other mentors, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings.
• Track student attendance and class schedules.
• Review material taught in class with inidual students.
• Create promotional materials and supplementary curriculum videos.

Requirements

• 5+ years of visual effects experience in a technical animation role
• Design credit on at least one published title
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Graphic design and communication skills are highly desirable
• Fluent in English
• Intermediate proficiency with Unreal Engine is required
• Prior mentoring experience is desirable, but not required

Trainer II

Description

The Trainerwill play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers gain comprehensive knowledge and skills in utilizing our module(s). This position involves overseeing the end-to-end development of training programs, from creating timelines to crafting engaging presentations. You will conduct live training sessions that are open to all customers, create engaging course content, collaborate across teams, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation. The successful candidate will become an expert in each module within our product, delivering both live and recorded training sessions with a focus on enhancing customer understanding and proficiency.
