Position Overview

As a senior software engineer, you will join our rewards data team to assist in building and maintaining user-facing and internal applications to support rewards reporting and financial performance monitoring. At Chorus One we take the upstream node software from projects like Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, or Avalanche; compile it; run it on one of our servers; and then make sure it is reliable and secure, monitor it, and keep it up to date. The networks rewards us for that in their native token. Keeping track of those rewards over time is a hard problem, because ironically, blockchains typically don’t expose convenient APIs to extract this data in a useful format. This is why we build our own automation, and integrate with third-party data vendors. Your work will power internal reports and dashboards, as well as external customer reporting, and rewards data APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features. Discuss with internal stakeholders to clarify how our next feature should look, discuss with fellow engineers how it should be implemented, and then drive implementation to completion.
• Support and collaborate. Review and discuss engineering designs, review code, help fellow engineers, and work with other teams such as platforms engineering, customer success, business development, and our networks team, to get them the insights they need.
• Innovation and continuous improvement. Seek to simplify, optimize, and secure our staking services and systems.
• Take part in on-call rotation approximately 2 days per month. You will be responsible for building APIs used by external parties, which come with an uptime requirement.

Job requirements

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with operating and maintaining server-side software in production.
• Experience with Python (most of our rewards data automation is written in Python)
• Other backend software at Chorus One is written in a mix of Rust and Go, experience with these is an advantage.
• Experience using SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with implementing REST APIs.
• Strong communication skills and ownership to drive new features independently.
• Interest in blockchain technology, in particular distributed systems and consensus algorithms.
• You are able to work in the following time zone: Switzerland ± 6 hours.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a Principal Solana Smart Contract Engineer to lead the development of a new Solana-based product from the ground up. Compensation

Base Salary: The CAD base salary range for this position is CAD $200,000 - $230,000. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Visual Content Creator to lead video content production and manage our Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube presence. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging video content that captures attention and drives engagement. This role demands deep expertise in crypto, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and the ability to stay ahead of trends. This is a high-impact, execution-focused role that requires someone who takes ownership, delivers consistently, and optimizes based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Content Creation & Strategy

1. Own and execute a high-volume, high-quality video content strategy across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
2. Work closely with the CMO to align content with broader marketing and brand objectives.
3. Create visually compelling, trend-driven videos that maximize reach and engagement.
4. Stay ahead of social media trends and incorporate viral formats, storytelling techniques, and hooks.
5. Edit videos with precision, ensuring top-tier production quality (text overlays, transitions, sound syncing, effects).

Social Media Management & Growth

1. Manage and grow our Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube accounts, ensuring a strong, consistent presence.
2. Track performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement, retention, and conversion data.
3. A/B test different video formats, captions, and posting strategies to maximize reach.
4. Engage with the audience, respond to comments, and actively build an engaged community.

Required Qualifications:

1. Self-starter with a high level of ownership—you execute without micromanagement.
2. Proven ability to create high-quality, engaging short-form videos that drive audience growth.
3. 1-3 years of experience in video production, content creation, or social media management.
4. Crypto, Web3, or financial markets knowledge is required.
5. Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, etc.).
6. Strong understanding of platform-specific trends, algorithms, and engagement strategies.
7. Experience in motion graphics, animation, or graphic design is a plus.
8. Data-driven mindset—you analyze performance and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
