Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on our compliance with GDPR, investigating other international data protection laws where relevant due to our customers locations
• Act as point of contact for data protection with internal teams, clients, and supervisory authorities
• Identify and evaluate the company's data processing activities
• Provide advice and instructions on how to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Establish and maintain QS Data Privacy policies and standards, and document for QS portfolio of websites.
• Monitor data management procedures and compliance within the company and advise remedies where non-compliance is found
• Advise on establishing and maintaining data retention periods for personal data held in different global locations and local laws
• Provide guidance to teams when considering new or different handling of personal data.
• Work with the business to ensure records of processing operations are maintained
• Monitor the business compliance with rights requests and assist in responding where needed
• Liaise with suppliers that process data on our behalf and create/review DPAs to ensure they are sufficient to protect QS and QS customer personal data.
• Review Data Processing clauses in QS and customer contracts and DPA's and liaise with Legal Counsel where amendments are required. Liaise with technical teams where terms require additional security controls.
• Perform audits and determine whether we need to alter our procedures to comply with regulations
• Advise on the DP aspects of any breach and lead on any reporting needed.
• Source and/or develop training on data protection compliance for employees
• Provide ongoing education for employees to enhance and reinforce training
• Keep up to date with changes in regulations and issue recommendations to enable compliance
• Provide a monthly report to QS Management with relevant Data Protection metrics.

Due to the inherent risk associated with field data collection, it will be pertinent to make sure that these crews are well versed to respond to a number of different scenarios. Risk, and recognizing the possibility of loss or injury inherent in field environments where projects are located so it will be necessary to outline and understand potential risks to reduce the likelihood of negative consequences.

The Sr Data Engineer role requires both great technical skills as well as a consultative and leadership based approach to work and teams. In this role you can expect to be engaged in strategic planning of architecture and systems with an eye for rapid development and performance, as well as demonstrating technical skills while creating well thought out data pipelines and repositories, particularly in the context of warehousing and analytics.

Tasks in the project are related to migrating pipelines for processing ad impressions in social media and streaming services to the AWS cloud. The goal is also to improve pipelines’ observability and overtime to build modern reusable components for the whole data platform.

Principal Business Analyst will be responsible for evaluating business features to address customer pain-point analyses, updating / managing business cases, and designing solutions to business problems. A typical day for this detail-oriented and collaborative professional will include engaging both internally and externally to gather, analyze and document requirements of various types, packaging those requirements into meaningful, readable formats and manage implementation of those requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.

As a data engineer for vision datasets, you will work on a 3-6 months project to catalyze progress in computer vision for the open-source and research community.

The project will deal with:

• analyzing publicly available vision datasets,
• providing better access to selected datasets within the 🤗 Datasets library,
• improving vision data pre- and post-processing features within the 🤗 Datasets library,
• evaluating state-of-the-art computer vision systems on a variety of vision/image datasets.

During your project, you will closely work with the vision community. The goal is to catalyze research in computer vision by making image preprocessing as easy as possible for as many datasets as possible, as well as providing reproducible baselines for state-of-the-art computer vision systems and empowering the vision community to improve current dataset documentation practices.
