This is a full-time salaried role with our direct client. This position is 100% remote for a candidate based in the United States. 

Clinical Data Manager | About You  

As a Clinical Data Manager, you will lead, plan, and execute all data management activities for assigned projects. You are ensuring the team focuses on data integrity, validity, and reliability through standard processes, sponsor guidelines, industry best practices, and regulatory standards.   

Clinical Data Manager | Day-to-Day  

• Serve as the Lead Data Manager and primary contact responsible for overseeing day-to-day data management activities from study start-up through final database lock, including, but not limited to:  
  • Creation and maintenance of the Data Management Plan.  
  • Development and design of Case Report Forms (CRFs).  
  • Develop Database Build specifications and coordinate database build and testing activities with database programmers.  
  • Define and test edit checks.  
  • Perform data review and query generation/resolution.  
  • Track study progress and issue periodic status reports.  
  • Process/reconcile electronic data received from other data sources.  
  • Oversee database lock and transfer process.  
• Lead and participate in internal and sponsor meetings as required, working directly with to provide data management support.  
• Ensure approved study documentation is maintained and properly stored in the trial master files.  
• Act as a point of escalation for data-related issues and queries.  
• Assist Clinical Project Manager in site management activities such as reviewing monitoring reports, tracking site visits, and communicating with monitors and sites.
• Maintain and track revisions to all documentation for accuracy, including patient Informed Consent Forms and Case Report Forms.  

Clinical Data Manager | Skills & Experience   

• 7+ years of progressive Clinical Data Management or related clinical experience working for CRO's, Pharma, Med Device, or other clinical study organizations.  
• Extensive experience managing clinical data in various phases (I-III) of clinical trials using EDC systems.  
• Skilled in driving study data strategy from start-up design to completion, including the development of the data validation specification (DVS).  
• Experienced in creating eCRF Completion Guidelines (CCG), EDC, SAE reconciliation guidelines and third-party (vendor) data reconciliations.   
• Thorough understanding of FDA regulations.  
• Self-motivated with crips and effective communication skills.

How our teams are structured

We have three Tech Hubs at Sidetrade, one in Birmingham (UK), one in Paris (France) and one in Calgary (Canada). We work in small, autonomous teams mixed with highly skilled engineers, usually up to a maximum of 7. Each team (or Squad) has a Product Manager, Technical Lead, a mix of engineers and dedicated QA.

As well as our day-to-day teams who focus on product delivery, we also have what we call Guilds. • UI/UX – Focuses on how to build the best front-end framework using React to present the best customer experience (check our medium blog which received more than 300 claps here)

Challenges you will face:

• Design and develop robust data pipelines. Data is at the heart of everything we do. The pipelines you build will power our analytics, machine learning and product features
• Build tools and automation capabilities for data pipelines. The data we ingest and the appetite to consume it is ever increasing - and therefore so is the importance of making data integration more reliable and scalable
• Extend our Data Warehouse and Data Lake to empower data-driven decisions
• Help build a data-platform to democratize data – we want to create a single source of truth of all our data, which is open to and consumable by everyone at Sidetrade
• Support implementation of secure design principles according to policies and standards of Information Security

The Position & Responsibilities:

As a senior engineer working on our Data Science team, you will be responsible for building/managing the data and feature pipeline for our data science/ML initiatives. This entails sourcing data, converting data into features, and managing these features and the models that employ them as part of our feature store infrastructure (feature engineering). You will have a background in building data pipelines for the purpose of collecting, cleansing, and transforming data, for use in the initiatives that bring unique insights to our users. We are looking for a Vulnerability Data Entry Analyst with a focus on WordPress to join our Threat Intelligence team. In this role, you will be expected to find and process WordPress plugin, theme, and core related vulnerability data to create comprehensive vulnerability entries that will be stored in a database. • Performing reconnaissance to find resources on vulnerabilities that can assist in populating vulnerability data.
• Researching and validating historical vulnerability data to populate new vulnerability entries.

• Certifications related to Data Entry or Information Security.
• Experience with vulnerability research in the WordPress ecosystem.

We're looking for a data engineer to join our implementation team. This role is for a tech-savvy person who will be responsible for using data to ensure our customer's success in using Watershed to improve their business performance. ABOUT THE ROLE:

The data engineer plays a key role in helping our clients implement and use Watershed by building connections between Watershed and client systems, providing technical assistance, sharing knowledge of best practices, consulting on business processes, and training clients on how to use Watershed.

The right person for this role will carry out technical implementations of Watershed. As part of the client success team, you'll help our clients build their learning data ecosystems. While you won't be writing code in Watershed's core product, this role still requires some deep technical experience.
