Location: Belgrade, Hybrid (Currently, we are three days per week in the office, subject to change)

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll be one of the primary owners of these apps. You'll shape how thousands of users experience our product - from performance and usability to the workflows they rely on to do their jobs.
You'll join a small, senior frontend team responsible for the main consumer-facing apps.
Responsibilities

- Work directly in our React 18 + TypeScript codebase, making architectural decisions that impact how we build features for years
- Dive into real product problems: how to surface dense information clearly, how to keep heavy pages fast, and how to make advanced tools feel simple
- Collaborate closely with design and product on UX, and with backend teams on clean API contracts
- Improve our foundations: testing strategy, patterns for state management, performance, and code quality
- Guide other engineers, effectively participate in code reviews, and help define and follow our frontend standards
The environment & stack
- Core: React 18, TypeScript, Yarn
- State & data: @tanstack/react-query, remains of Redux and a set of domain‑specific providers

Required Skills & Experience
- You've spent several years building complex React applications and you're very comfortable in TypeScript
- You've seen what works (and what doesn't) in larger codebases and care about code structure, boundaries, and long‑term maintainability
- You're fluent in state management and data fetching patterns (React Query, SWR, etc.)
- You naturally bring quality and ownership: you think about modularity, reusability, peer reviews, performance, and testing as part of "done"
- You communicate clearly, enjoy collaborating with product/design, and like to give and receive feedback from other engineers
Bonus experience that will stand out
- Working with maps/geo UIs (Google Maps, Mapbox)
- Experience with or desire to use modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, AI pair-programming / code review tools) to move faster while maintaining code quality

Work Where It's Best for You
Work Anywhere means you can work in an office or at home on any given day. It's about getting the work done in the way and place that works best for each person. This applies across all locations and departments.
Work Anywhere does not mean work at any time. We have predictable core hours where employees are generally available for meetings and collaboration. Employees are focused and available during core hours.
We invest in our offices to make them places where our employees like to go. If you work in the office three or more days a week, you will have a dedicated office workspace. Our offices function as hubs to draw people in, create social bonds, and where random connections and mixing of ideas happen. We're investing more in offices, culture, and offsite meetings, not less.
Product teams are organized in regional product hubs for optimal collaboration and live within a time zone of their hub. Our current product hubs are located in Pleasanton, Columbus, Boston, Kansas City, New York City, Raleigh, and Toronto. We create opportunities for teams to get together in person regularly.
Customer-facing roles, such as Sales and Professional Services, live near and/or travel to their customers.
When an employee moves within a country it does not cause a change in salary. Where you live impacts you and your family. Not knowing if your compensation will change if you move can cause stress and uncertainty for everyone. We wanted to eliminate that.
Work at Veeva. Work where it's best for you.
A different kind of company. A Public Benefit Corporation.
Unlike a traditional corporation, whose only legal duty is to maximize shareholder value, PBCs consider their public benefit purpose and the interests of those materially affected by the corporation's conduct-including customers, employees, and the community-in addition to shareholders' interests.
What sets us apart

Public Benefit Corporation
In February 2021, Veeva became the first public company to convert to a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC).
Unlike a traditional corporation, whose only legal duty is to maximize shareholder value, PBCs consider their public benefit purpose and the interests of those materially affected by the corporation's conduct-including customers, employees, and the community-in addition to shareholders' interests.
Veeva's public benefit purpose is to help make the industries we serve more productive and create high-quality employment opportunities.

About Joyride Labs, Inc.
Joyride is building the first dedicated 0DTE options exchange to provide better leverage for crypto traders. Derivatives present the single largest opportunity to bring traditional finance on-chain with over $3.5 trillion dollars of notional volume traded in the U.S. every day. We are developing a world-class exchange using a hybrid architecture: a central limit order book (CLOB) for low latency execution coupled with a blockchain for transparent, non-custodial settlement.
The Team
You will be joining a founding team with a proven track record of building successful companies on-chain and off. Joyride’s team includes the founders and early contributors of Origin Protocol, where we’ve been building on Ethereum since 2017 and have scaled products to nine-figure TVL. In addition to being early advisors to Solana, two of Joyride’s cofounders have built and worked for multiple venture-backed companies that have been acquired by Google, Yahoo, and Walmart.
The Challenge
0DTE options have massive “Gamma risk”—prices move violently as expiration approaches. This presents a unique challenge for an exchange to operate safely.
- Balancing Solvency & Capital Efficiency: Our portfolio margin engine must ensure that traders can always meet the obligations to their counterparties while minimizing the amount of collateral they’re required to post.
- Execution Speed: To efficiently provide liquidity and avoid toxic flow, market makers need to update orders in milliseconds. Even the fastest blockchains today are too slow.
- Trust & Verifiability: Traders demand self-custody and transparency. They won’t deposit funds into a black box they don’t control.
- Availability: Global capital markets never sleep. Our exchange must be dependable and reliable, enabling traders to execute orders and withdrawals 24/7.
As our Founding Principal Engineer, your mandate will be to solve this difficult challenge. You will architect a hybrid exchange engine that matches orders off-chain at the speed of light but settles them on-chain with cryptographic proof validity.
What you will build:
- The Trusted Matching Engine: Architect a high-frequency Central Limit Order Book (CLOB). It must handle massive throughput without the latency drag of a blockchain while maintaining verifiability.
- The Trust Bridge: Design the cryptographic system that proves to the blockchain that the off-chain match was valid. We must ensure that the exchange operators cannot front-run or alter the order book.
- Atomic Settlement: Write the programs that handle the movement of collateral based on the proofs generated by your off-chain engine.
- Risk & Liquidation: Build a real-time risk engine capable of liquidating 0DTE positions instantly to protect the protocol from bad debt, even during high network congestion.
Who you are:
- High-Performance Systems Expert: You understand exactly how your code maps to hardware. You prioritize memory layouts, lock-free data structures, and concurrency patterns to squeeze every cycle out of the CPU.
- Architectural Polymath: You are comfortable traversing the gap between high-performance cloud infrastructure and trustless state machines.
- Security Minded: You think like an adversary. When you see a “hybrid” architecture, your first thought is “How do I break the link between the server and the chain?”
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend systems engineering (Rust, C++, or Go)
- Deep proficiency with Rust
- Familiarity with Solana and EVM development
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and asynchronous programming
- Experience designing hybrid architecture
- Strong grasp of applied cryptography
Bonus:
- Experience building trading systems (matching engines, risk management)
- Background in high-frequency trading or financial engineering
- Previous work on a centralized exchange or CLOB DEX
What we offer:
- Competitive salary and upside
- Remote work flexibility
- Autonomy to solve challenging problems
- Fast-paced environment
- Unlimited growth potential
- Support for open-source contributions

Solace is a healthcare advocacy marketplace that connects patients and families to experts who help them understand and take charge of their personal health
About the Role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll join a spectacularly talented team of fellow engineers—but you will also be expected to independently own your product workflow from initial design requirements through deployment. You will be expected to move aggressively, and you will commit code daily, but you’ll get that rush of seeing your work in the wild with live users on a regular basis as you build a revolutionary product from scratch.
You are an experienced engineer who can identify problems and architect the highest-quality solutions. You are curious and enjoy working on ambiguous problems where the solutions are not (yet) well-defined. You take pride in your craft, have impeccable communication skills, and you absorb feedback exceptionally well. You aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Above all, you enjoy taking ownership and are stifled by large organizations.
About Solace
Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.
We're a Series B startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, and Signalfire. Our fully remote U.S. team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.
Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.
What You’ll Do
Analyze product requirements and produce high-quality, production-ready code while creating a best-in-class user experience.
Build and maintain new user-facing features with everything from database models to UI components.
Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility and accountability for every last detail, every step of the way.
Be a collaborator. You’ll work with other engineers and cross-functional partners in product and design to build a world-class product and lead new initiatives to improve our user experience.
Create services and APIs to drive existing and new features for web apps.
Maintain the health of our systems and codebase, refactor and make improvements, and keep our systems robust and resilient.
Write clear specs to ensure product/code quality for stress-free deployment.
Drive large releases to production on a continuous deployment cadence.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience working in a start-up environment.
5+ years of relevant experience on both frontend and backend development.
Strong React fundamentals and a background working with Typescript/Node.
An intuitive understanding of what it takes to create delightful, consumer-oriented experiences.
Strong communication skills that help you influence product direction and help collaborative visions come to life.
