Location: Oakland, CA, United States
Job Description:
From Fivetran's founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. We're proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.

You will own and continuously improve core web surfaces on fivetran.com like the Homepage and Navigation. You will partner cross-functionally to align business objectives with web best practices and high-velocity execution. This role requires a keen eye for the user experience, an analytical skill set, and a strong eagerness to learn, test, and iterate quickly.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Technologies You'll Use

What You'll Do
- Own and continuously optimize high-impact surfaces on fivetran.com (ex: Homepage, Navigation, Interactive Demo, key conversion flows) to drive measurable improvements in conversion rates.
- Own and optimize the Website Chat as a high-impact growth channel.
- Execute a structured experimentation program: identifying opportunities to optimize through data, writing briefs to design the test, and analyzing performance.
- Translate web data and user behavior into clear insights and actionable recommendations that improve funnel performance and UX. Partner closely with Web Design to translate website plans into designed experiences.
- Work directly in Webflow to ship updates quickly, including page edits, UX improvements, and copy changes. Work with our web developer to build more complex experiences.
- Write clear and actionable business requirement documents (BRDs) for web initiatives to align stakeholders on goals, milestones, and success metrics.
- Partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Brand, and Product to execute GTM priorities on the website.

- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, influencing and collaborating with teams across Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Brand.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics with experience translating data into actionable insights.

Coordinate with our product, design and marketing teams on the release of new projects and websites
Take ownership, research, explore and deliver novel experiences
Teach us what we don't know and how you want to improve the search and discovery experiences
Participate (new features, bug fixes) to other popular open-source projects related to our project needs
Be a technical mentor and help the team grow
Help define engineering best practices and processes
You might be a fit if you have:
Demonstrable proficiency with the latest agentic experience design, development patterns, and relevant SDKs.
Deep understanding of building, integrating, and optimizing user interfaces leveraging autonomous agents, LLMs, and AI-driven workflows.
Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, the Frontend web ecosystem: DOM, frameworks, library crafting, bundlers
You have created at least one reusable module (private or open source)
You have an eye for great user experiences (UX)
You like to help, teach and mentor your colleagues, in and outside the team.
Experience at our current stage and beyond ($50-300M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure)
Overall, we care about your current and future skill set. Not where you studied or who you know. We care about what you like to do and about what you'd like to do in the future, at Algolia.

AI Platform Engineer
- Melbourne, AustraliaEmployees can work remotely
- Full-time
Company Description
Managing business expenses shouldn’t be a guessing game. Yet many SMEs still lack clear cash flow visibility and spend control. At Budgetly, we’re changing that.
We’re building an AI-first platform that simplifies expense management and helps businesses make better financial decisions, faster. The goal is simple: help you spend smarter, save time, and grow profitably.
The bet
Most companies are using AI to help engineers write code faster. We’re doing something different.
We’re building AI agents that deliver product features end-to-end. Product describes what they need. Agents generate, review, and ship. Engineers design the system that makes this reliable.
If this works, feature delivery scales with the product, not headcount.
What success looks like in 12 months
- 90% of product features ship through agent pipelines
- Product Managers move from idea to deployed code without engineering bottlenecks
- Engineers focus only on complex, high-leverage problems
- Feature output grows without growing the team
Job Description
What you’ll actually do
This isn’t a traditional senior engineering role. You won’t spend most of your time writing product features. You’ll spend it building the system that writes them.
Right now, your time will split roughly:
- 50% building agent workflows - requirement interpretation, code generation, review, and deployment pipelines
- 50% reviewing and improving outputs - identifying failure modes and feeding those learnings back into the system
This ratio shifts over time as the agents improve. Your job is to make that shift happen. This means you’ll:
- Design agentic workflows that take a requirement from spec to production
- Review agent output with a critical eye to catch the quality issues that automated checks miss
- Identify failure patterns and turn them into system-level improvements
- Maintain and evolve the platform (TypeScript, serverless architecture, shared codebase)
- Work closely with product to reduce the ambiguity agents struggle with
Qualifications
This role requires strength in two areas, equally:
- Systems thinking for agent workflows. You can design feedback loops, identify where pipelines fail, and build the scaffolding (steering files, review gates, prompt structures) that makes agents reliable.
- Engineering Taste. You look at agent-generated code and immediately know whether it’s good — not just “does it work” but “does it match the conventions, is it the simplest solution, would I approve this PR.” This requires deep experience shipping production software. You can’t judge quality you’ve never produced yourself.
What we need from you
- Strong TypeScript and React experience in production environments
- You’ve shipped real software to real users, not just prototypes, so you understand the difference between code that works and code that’s production-ready
- You can read a codebase and quickly identify its patterns, conventions, and architecture
- Comfort working in ambiguity, as you’ll help define what “good” looks like in this space
Nice to have: AWS serverless experience (CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB)
Who this role is not for
Be honest with yourself:
- If you want to spend most of your time building features directly, this role will frustrate you. The whole point is to automate yourself out of the direct build loop.
- If you’re excited about AI but haven’t shipped production software, you won’t have the taste to judge agent output. The judgment comes from experience.
- If you prefer clearly defined roles, stable scope, and established best practices, this environment won’t be a match.
The team and company
This role is part of a team of 3–4 engineers reporting to a hands-on CTO. The entire company is going all-in on this model, not just engineering. Sales, marketing, support are all building agentic workflows for their functions. This isn’t a side experiment, it’s our operating model.
Additional Information
We’re guided by trust, respect, and ownership. Our values, Embrace Change, Carte Blanche, Find Wisdom in Data, and We All “Own It”, shape how we work.
- We’re fully remote, so you can work from anywhere in Australia
- 5 weeks annual leave and flexible working - we believe in balance
- Monthly “Wellness Budget” to help you stay healthy, mentally & physically
- Employee share options (ESOP) for all team members - we truly all “own it”
How to apply?
To start your application with us, submit your CV via the application form. Note that background checks are required as part of our offer process.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds, abilities, and identities. We value ersity and believe that it enhances our creativity, innovation, and overall success. Join us in creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.

Title: UI Software Engineer, Claude.ai Consumer Product
Locations:
San Francisco, CA | New York City, NY | Seattle, WA
About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role:
Claude.ai is one of the most-used AI products in the world, and the experience we build for our users directly shapes how people interact with AI every day. We're looking for a talented engineer to join the team that builds the consumer web app — the interfaces, interactions, and moments that turn Claude from a capable model into a product people genuinely enjoy using.
This is a product engineering role first and foremost. You'll work closely with designers and product managers to bring features from concept to shipped experience, obsessing over the details that make the difference: how something feels when you first land on it, how smoothly a new interaction flows, how an interface holds up under real-world use. Great UX isn't just about how something looks — it's about how fast it feels, how reliably it works, and how well it adapts to the device and context someone is using it on. You won't need to be building backend infrastructure or platform tooling — your focus is on crafting the best possible experience for the people using Claude.ai on the web.
The pace is fast, the product is evolving quickly, and the opportunity to have a visible, direct impact on how millions of people use AI is real. If you love building consumer products and care about getting the details right, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship user-facing features for claude.ai's web experience, working closely with designers to bring detailed, polished interactions to life
- Translate design intent into high-quality implementations — paying close attention to accessibility and the small details that add up to a great product feel
- Build responsive applications that work well across devices and screen sizes, and actively care about the performance characteristics that shape how the product feels to use — latency, responsiveness, and reliability are first-class concerns, not afterthoughts
- Collaborate tightly with product managers to understand user needs, shape feature scope, and make informed tradeoffs as you build
- Iterate quickly based on user feedback and internal testing, improving the experience on a continuous basis
- Work with the UI Platform team to consume shared components and tooling effectively, and flag gaps or pain points that would help the broader team move faster
- Help maintain a high bar for code quality and consistency within the consumer product codebase
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 5+ years of experience building consumer-facing web products, with a strong emphasis on UI quality and user experience
- Are proficient in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and have experience with Node.js on the backend side of the stack
- Genuinely care about the user experience — not just how something looks, but how fast it loads, how reliably it works, and how it feels across devices. You think about latency and responsiveness the same way you think about design
- Collaborate well with designers and product managers, and enjoy the iterative process of turning a design into something that works beautifully in the browser
- Are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and shipping quickly matters
- Pick up slack, even if it goes outside your job description
Strong candidates may also have experience with:
- Accessibility best practices and building inclusive user interfaces
- Performance optimization for consumer web apps — profiling, reducing bundle size, improving rendering performance, and understanding where latency comes from end-to-end
- Designing and implementing responsive layouts that work well across screen sizes and devices
- Working on products with real-time or streaming interactions (chat interfaces, live updates, etc.)
- User research or usability testing, or a track record of incorporating user feedback into product decisions
- Working on AI/ML products or in fast-moving consumer product environments
Candidates need not have:
- 100% of the skills needed to perform the job
- Formal certifications or education credentials
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000 - $405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of erse perspectives on our team.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
