COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

About the Job

As a Jr. Front-End Web Developer, you'll team up with others in various stacks at Nutshell. That's where you come in. We're looking for for a LAMP web developer to join Reingold's digital experience team. This role supports building and maintaining websites in WordPress and Drupal for commercial and federal contracts. As a LAMP web developer, you are a trusted technical adviser to our clients. You understand the complexity of their industries and have a passion for developing creative solutions to help them reach and influence their audiences.

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days per week on site at Reingold's headquarters in Alexandria, VA or one day per week on site at our Raleigh, NC office.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and maintain websites and web applications using the LAMP stack, following the full software development lifecycle.
• Design, configure, test, implement, and support technical solutions that meet client and project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Work within digital experience's agile frameworks and tools, including Jira and Confluence, to manage tasks and collaborate effectively.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including user experience, information architecture, and search engine optimization, to deliver cohesive digital products.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly language and documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Present and demo newly implemented features to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Contribute creative ideas and a fresh perspective to continuously improve products and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or similar web development field.
• Experience in creating and maintaining intermediate and advanced WooCommerce instances and integrations.
• 3+ years of experience working with PHP and customizing and extending both WordPress and Drupal, including hooks, filters, and content management system best practices.
• Fundamental front-end development experience using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with commonly used plugins such as WordPress Advanced Custom Fields and Drupal Storybook.
• Experience configuring hosting platforms, domains, etc.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Initiative, intellect, and reliability, plus strong stamina for learning new technology.
• Interest in exploring and applying AI tools and technologies to enhance development workflows and user experiences across web applications and CMS platforms.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position will not have direct reports but will be expected to mentor teammates and to lead by example and influence.

What does a Digital Project Manager do at Hogarth?

As a digital project manager, you will oversee the localization of Client's websites and email communications for the assigned region. You will be responsible for ensuring that Client's digital assets for products and services are effectively tailored and presented to meet the needs and preferences of the region users. You will support and brief a multifunctional team, including but not limited to translators, linguists, designers, developers, and QA specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Execute localization strategies for websites and email communications targeted at Latin American and Canada audiences.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
• Partner up with leads to plan and allocate agency resources effectively to ensure timely and successful delivery of localized digital assets.
• Ensure effective collaboration, communication, and coordination among team members to achieve localization objectives.
• Oversee the localization process for assets, including content translation, cultural adaptation, and user experience optimization.
• Support the production team and provide ongoing localization direction. Ultimately sign off on the execution of all projects related to your assigned projects before sharing them with the Client.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain accuracy, consistency, and functionality of localized assets.

Qualifications:
