Who is Risk Labs?
Risk Labs is the foundation and core team behind UMA and Across.
We operate as one cohesive, globally distributed team building infrastructure that pushes crypto forward. UMA’s Optimistic Oracle records verifiable truth onto blockchains. Across is leading interoperability through intent-based architecture. Both are decentralized protocols governed by global communities and supported by Risk Labs Foundation.
We are remote-first, high-agency, and impact-driven.
Why This Role Exists
We are hiring a contract analyst to support UMA’s proposal monitoring system for prediction markets. This system provides additional safety against incorrect proposals going undisputed and that response times remain within defined service thresholds. You will use internal tooling to review proposals flagged as high risk, and exercise independent judgment to decide if they are correct or should escalate to UMA’s dispute resolution system. Your work directly impacts resolution accuracy, protocol trust, and user confidence.
This is not a community moderator role. It is a structured, accountable review function operating under defined response-time and quality expectations. The right candidate will grow their impact and scale in this role, as the system and its critical integrations (like Polymarket) continue to scale exponentially.
What You’ll Own
1. Flagged Proposal Review (Primary Responsibility)
- Review proposals flagged by monitoring systems during assigned coverage windows.
- Determine whether the proposal is:
- Correct
- Should be escalated to UMA’s dispute resolution system
- Review and act on flagged proposals promptly to stay within maximum response times.
- Maintain high decision accuracy
- Determine when to escalate high risk or ambiguous cases to senior Risk Labs staff when required
Estimated volume: 10-50 flagged proposals for review per 12 hour period.
2. Exercise Independent Judgment
- Apply consistent reasoning across objective and subjective markets
- Interpret ambiguous or edge-case rules under time constraints
- Ensure decisions are defensible, repeatable, and aligned with protocol standards
3. Maintain Decision Quality**
- Clearly document rationale for approvals, disputes, and escalations
- Maintain consistent standards across review cases
4. Improve the System
- Identify patterns in false flags or rule ambiguity
- Provide structured feedback on monitoring gaps
- Suggest improvements to market rules to increase determinism and clarity
- Contribute to ongoing refinement of Human Review processes
What Success Looks Like
This role is outcome-driven. Success is measured by:
- SLA adherence
- Consistent and high quality judgements on flagged proposals
- Consistency across decisions
- Actionable system feedback contributions
Ideal Background
Required
- Prediction Market Fluency: 1+ years of active involvement with prediction markets (rules, disputes, resolutions)
- Strong Analytical Judgment: Ability to interpret both objective and subjective market rules under ambiguity
- High Integrity & Bias Resistance: Comfortable making neutral decisions that may impact financial outcomes
- Reliability & Accountability: Consistent SLA adherence and independent work execution
- Clear Written Communication: Ability to articulate concise, structured reasoning
- Detail-Oriented & Process-Driven
Comparable Experience May Include
- Trust & Safety / Policy Enforcement
- Marketplace Integrity
- Risk Operations / AML Review
- Fact-checking or governance review
- DAO governance participation
Schedule & Structure
- Contract-based role
- Remo
- KYC required
- Structured shifts (anticipated ~12-hour shifts, 5 days/week including weekends, final schedule TBD)
- Alternatively, distributed coverage model (1–3 hours/day) depending on final staffing design
- Review activity limited to defined working hours (no engineer-style on-call expectations)
- Coordination via Slack
Compensation
- Monthly retainer
- Per-review incentive structure
- Performance-based incentives tied to:
- Volume thresholds
- SLA adherence
- Resolution accuracy
- Escalation quality
Compensation range reflects experience and demonstrated judgment.
Payment available in stablecoins or fiat.
Who Thrives Here
- Calm under ambiguity
- Comfortable making decisions others may disagree with
- Resistant to bias and external influence
- Structured in thinking
- High-agency and self-directed
- Motivated by protecting system integrity

Who is Risk Labs?
Risk Labs is the foundation and core team behind Across. The Risk Labs team operates as one cohesive (amazing!) culture, but focuses on two core protocols, UMA and Across. UMA and Across are decentralized protocols governed by community members across the globe in DAOs, and are supported by Risk Labs Foundation. UMA’s optimistic oracle (OO) can record any verifiable truth or data onto a blockchain. Across is leading the future of interoperability with its frontier intents based architecture.
We are a remote-first, globally distributed team focused on building infrastructure that pushes crypto forward.
Role Objective
Expand the adoption of Across by successfully integrating partners, unblocking technical challenges, designing high‑impact solutions, and acting as a trusted technical partner from first conversation through post‑integration. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and partnerships. Deeply technical, highly collaborative, creative, and strongly execution‑oriented. This role is the only senior solutions engineering role on the sales team, so there is high expectations on senior and agency; while also a lot of room for creating automation or workflows that work for you to be successful.
Why This Role Exists
Across adoption is accelerating.
As more teams integrate our Swap API and infrastructure, the complexity of support increases. Today, support is strong but partially reactive. Integrations ship, but friction exists. Patterns repeat. Engineering gets pulled into debugging. High-potential partners need more proactive enablement.
This role exists to own and scale the integrator experience end-to-end, reducing friction, designing better systems, and ensuring integrations move from first call to production smoothly and predictably.
What You’ll Own
1. Integration Execution & Partner Enablement (Core Focus)
You will act as the primary technical partner for integrators.
- Support architecture design and implementation decisions
- Debug across partner and protocol codebases
- Unblock testing, deployment, and production issues
- Identify recurring blockers and eliminate root causes
- Turn bespoke partner solutions into reusable templates and playbooks
This is hands-on work. You should be comfortable reading and writing production-level code.
2. Support Systems & Scale
Across cannot scale if support scales linearly.
You will:
- Design workflows that reduce manual debugging
- Introduce automation where possible
- Improve support infrastructure (ticketing, triage, internal tooling)
- Convert repeated questions into documentation, tooling, or self-serve flows
- Increase velocity for Product, Engineering, and GTM
Repeated work should become systems. Systems should reduce friction for everyone.
3. Technical Signal & Commercial Awareness
This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and partnerships.
You will:
- Surface structured product feedback from integrators
- Identify expansion opportunities with growing partners
- Help articulate technical value in conversations with decision-makers
- Ensure high-leverage partners receive proactive support
This is not a “salesy” role but commercial awareness matters.
4. Developer Experience Improvements
As Across leans further into its infrastructure narrative:
- Improve documentation and integration flows
- Publish example implementations and reference repos
- Increase discoverability within technical audiences
- Help ensure Across is intuitive and production-ready
You build before you broadcast.
What Success Looks Like
- Integrations ship faster with fewer surprises
- Support becomes more proactive than reactive
- Repeated issues turn into automation or tooling
- Engineering receives clean, structured feedback
- Integrators feel supported and continue building
- Across becomes easier to integrate and scale
Required Experience
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in production codebases
- Experience supporting or building integrations (APIs, SDKs, protocols, infra)
- Comfortable debugging unfamiliar systems with limited documentation
- Ability to improve systems and workflows — not just execute tasks
- Strong communication skills (technical + cross-functional)
- High ownership and accountability
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in blockchain, DeFi, or developer-facing infrastructure
- Familiarity with EVM systems or cross-chain architecture
- Experience building internal tooling or automation
- Prior experience in solutions engineering, platform engineering, or technical partnerships
Who This Is Not For
- Someone who primarily wants to be public-facing DevRel
- Someone who prefers pure sales or quota-driven environments
- Someone who avoids ambiguity or messy debugging
Who You Are
- You enjoy being the person who figures things out and makes things happen
- You care deeply about developer experience and real‑world usability.
- You’re pragmatic and systems-oriented
- You leave processes better than you found them
- You like owning problems end‑to‑end and leaving systems better than you found them.
Our tech stack: BigQuery, Preset/Superset, Python, dbt, Airflow, Typescript, Node.js, Solidity, viem, React, ethers
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay packages include competitive salaries & meaningful token options.
- Salaries for this role range from $100-200k (USD), and your token allocation can grow with your voting rewards while you participate in the growing ecosystem.
- Will pay in stablecoins or fiat
- Philosophies for a culture that show we care: Take vacation when you need it, family care, training and development (just to name a few)
- 100% remote, which means we encourage you to create the work environment that you thrive in
- At least two team wide offsites a year

If you’re paying attention to events unfolding worldwide, we’re undergoing a troubling transition into a world where free speech and online privacy will soon become a redundant thing of the past.
Mirage is a decentralized discourse protocol. What Reddit could have been. A simple, user-centric platform built to protect speech, erase corporate censorship, and give people control over their algorithm. No more black box feeds controlled by faceless corporations.
Every post and comment exists across the entire network through a blockchain, so no single server holds the keys to your content. All nodes see the same live feed of activity, making Mirage fast, censorship-resistant, and impossible for one operator to control.
You don’t need a wallet, tokens, or any understanding of crypto to use it. Anyone can sign up instantly and start posting just like they would on Reddit or X. Your browser performs a simple proof of work that takes seconds, then you’re in. We handle the blockchain complexity in the background.
Mirage is not a company. Not a platform. It’s a protocol that can’t be bought, sold, or shut down.
The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Associate who gets it. Someone who understands why decentralized speech matters, knows how to build communities from scratch, and can translate a technical protocol into messaging that resonates with real people, not just crypto natives.
This isn’t a “schedule tweets and write blog posts” role. You’ll be on the front lines of user acquisition, growth strategy, content creation, and community building for a protocol that’s genuinely trying to change how the internet works.
What You’ll Do
- Own Mirage’s social presence across Twitter/X, Reddit, and emerging platforms, building a voice that’s authentic, sharp, and impossible to ignore
- Develop and run growth campaigns focused on real active users, not vanity metrics
- Monitor censorship events in real time, such as subreddit bans, deplatformings, government overreach and rapidly position Mirage as the alternative
- Create content that makes people feel the problem before offering Mirage as the solution, threads, short-form video, memes, long-form posts
- Build relationships with creators, influencers, and partner accounts aligned with the mission Coordinate community seeding so the platform feels alive for new users
- Bring fresh ideas to the broader marketing strategy alongside the founding team
What We’re Looking For
- You live on the internet and understand community dynamics, meme culture, and online discourse intuitively
- Genuine interest in free speech, decentralization, or the broader fight against corporate censorship. This isn’t a role you fake passion for!
- Experience growing communities or audiences from zero, whether professionally or through your own projects.
- Strong writing skills. You can switch between punchy tweets, compelling threads, and longer-form content without losing your voice
- Comfort working in crypto/web3 environments, even if you’re not deeply technical
- Self-starter who doesn’t need to be told what to post every day, you see opportunities and move on them
- Bonus: existing presence or network in crypto Twitter, Reddit communities, or free speech circles
What We’re Not Looking For
Someone who needs a corporate marketing playbook to function “Growth hackers” who think buying followers is a strategy People who’d be uncomfortable working on a genuinely uncensored platform
Apply via our Twitter DMs!
Bring ONE idea that you think would help blow this up! The more outside the box the better!

About Noca
Noca is a DAO treasury manager. We manage onchain treasuries with institutional rigor — deploying capital across DeFi protocols, managing risk parameters, and optimizing yield strategies for DAOs.
We manage the Gnosis DAO treasury — over $200M in liquid assets deployed across DeFi. We’re a small, high-output team. Transparency is how we operate.
The Role
We’re looking for a DeFi Risk & Operations Analyst to work directly on treasury strategy execution: monitoring positions, evaluating protocol risk, managing liquidity deployments, and keeping our operations tight.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be in the protocols daily — not writing about them from a distance.
What you’ll do:
- Monitor and manage live DeFi positions across lending, liquidity provisioning, and yield strategies
- Evaluate and maintain risk parameters across protocols (collateral ratios, liquidation thresholds, concentration limits)
- Execute treasury operations: rebalancing, bridging, deploying and unwinding positions
- Research new protocols and strategies — assess smart contract risk, governance risk, and economic risk before capital deployment
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reporting for portfolio positions using tools like Hypernative, Tenderly Alerts, and similar monitoring infrastructure
- Use AI tools (Claude, custom agents) to accelerate research and monitoring, while maintaining manual verification and oversight of all agent outputs
- Track governance proposals and protocol changes across the DeFi ecosystem that could impact treasury positions or risk exposure
- Document operational procedures and risk frameworks
What we’re looking for:
- 2-4 years of direct, hands-on DeFi experience — not just trading, but understanding how protocols work under the hood
- Strong grasp of lending protocols (Aave, Morpho, Compound, Euler), DEX liquidity provisioning (Uniswap v3/v4, Curve, Balancer), and stablecoin mechanics
- Familiarity with risk parameters: LTVs, liquidation penalties, oracle dependencies, bad debt scenarios
- Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools as genuine productivity multipliers — for research, analysis, and operational workflows — with the judgment to verify and supervise outputs
- Comfortable reading Solidity at a basic level and interpreting onchain data (Etherscan, Dune, Arkham)
- Systematic thinker who documents processes and builds repeatable frameworks rather than ad-hoc decision-making
- Strong written communication — you’ll be writing risk assessments, not just Telegram messages
Bonus points:
- Experience with multisig operations (Safe) and DAO governance tooling
- Background in traditional finance risk management
- Familiarity with cross-chain operations and bridging
- Experience building Dune dashboards or similar analytics
- You’ve been liquidated before and learned from it
Details
- Type: Full-time contractor
- Location: Remote — CET to JST timezones
- Compensation: Competitive, discussed during interviews
- Team: Small, senior, direct. No middle management. You’ll have real impact and real responsibility from day one.
How to Apply
Send an email to [email protected] with:
- A brief note on your DeFi experience and what you’ve managed/operated (not a cover letter essay)
- Your CV or LinkedIn
- One example of a DeFi risk you identified and how you handled it — can be a paragraph, a Dune query, a thread, whatever demonstrates how you think
Don’t check every box? If you have strong DeFi fundamentals and think you’d be a good fit, apply anyway.
