Role Overview
We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced ClickHouse DBA to take full ownership of our analytical database infrastructure. As more of our product shifts to ClickHouse, we need a specialist who can keep our clusters fast, reliable, and cost-efficient. You’ll partner closely with our backend and infra teams, enabling them to move faster while ensuring the database remains rock solid.
What You’ll Do
Cluster Operations
- Manage and scale ClickHouse clusters (replication, sharding, distributed tables).
- Handle schema evolution, partitioning strategies, and TTLs.
- Maintain data consistency across replicas and shards.
- Plan and execute upgrades with zero or minimal downtime.
Performance & Optimization
- Profile and optimize heavy queries and table engines.
- Tune key configs (max_threads, max_memory_usage, merge settings, I/O schedulers).
- Benchmark cluster performance (ingest throughput, query latency, merge rate).
- Work with engineers to optimize schema and query patterns.
Monitoring & Reliability
- Maintain observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, and system logs.
- Set up alerting on query performance, merges, replicas, and disk usage.
- Own backup and restore processes (S3, NFS, or local snapshots).
- Test and document disaster recovery scenarios.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years hands-on ClickHouse experience and 4+ years working as a DBA with distributed or analytical databases.
- Strong understanding of replication, partitioning, and distributed table design.
- Experience with performance tuning and large-scale OLAP workloads.
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana).
- Hands-on experience managing production clusters with high uptime requirements.
- Comfortable taking full ownership of mission-critical systems.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with multi-cluster or cross-region setups.
- Familiarity with ClickHouse Cloud or Altinity.Cloud.
- Experience using S3/object storage as part of a ClickHouse deployment.

About the Role

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Manager to lead strategic partnership development and sales initiatives within the stablecoin and digital asset ecosystem.
