about us
At telli we are building AI voice agents that are reshaping an entire industry.
Since launching 8-months ago, we raised a $3.6M pre-seed round from Cherry and Y Combinator and grew to $1M in ARR. We are looking for a team members who want to go all-in to help us achieve the next milestone: $10M in ARR.
Two of our co-founders Finn and Philipp previously scaled the heat pump unit of energy unicorn Enpal from 0-150 people. They've seen the ins and outs of scaling phone-based customer processes. These businesses are rushing to deploy AI voice agents. However, creating a demo is easy — building reliable agents that handle millions of calls in production is incredibly hard.
In a world where intelligence becomes a commodity, it is up to us builders to craft new product experiences that let people harness the power of AI.
But building AI voice agents comes with challenges:
*
What is the most intuitive way for humans to build and adjust their own AI agents?\*
How do you build agents that work reliably across millions of calls in a world of non-determinism?\*
How do you ensure that customers can use the latest foundational models without having to understand the technical trade-offs?\*
How do you enable companies to build hybrid teams of human and AI agents?\*
What does human-computer interaction look like if, instead of having UI elements, you have a hyper-intelligent sidekick?\These are unsolved problems. Problems that haven't existed since the invention of computers. Solutions that worked in a pre-LLM world won't work today. Nobody knows how to solve these problems; it's up to us to figure it out.
We’re a small, fully in-person team based in Berlin. Even though most people have told us to build this company in SF because of “better talent” - we know there is amazing talent in Europe. We believe you can build a multi-billion dollar software company in Europe, and there is no better time to do this than now.
about the role
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for engineers who care about velocity and solving real customer problems. You won't just ship code; you will own projects end-to-end, make core product and architectural decisions, and shape the future of this company.
We believe in building a small A* engineering team. We plan to keep the core engineering team small, even while we scale and rely on engineers who have super high impact on the growth of the company.
That is why to succeed, you need to be comfortable with working on any part of our stack. One week you might be polishing the UX of our frontend, the next week e deep into async processing challenges of our voice AI infrastructure If you only want to work on a specific technology/part of the product, this might not be the right role for you.
Right now our engineering team consists of Paulus, Philipp, Błażej, and Seb. We are planning to bring on 2 more people (one of them could be be you).
what you will do

work closely with our customers, understand their problems, and come up with product experiences that solve their challenges\*
build scalable backend infrastructure to handle thousands of AI phone calls a day\*
build intuitive user experiences that make sense in an AI-first world\*
own high stakes projects end-to-end\tech stack

what makes you a great fit
*
you align with our [principles](\"https://principles.telli.com/\")\*
you love challenging work and consistently go above and beyond\*
you take full ownership of projects\*

*
you prefer a remote-first environment\*
you like to work on your own with minimum collaboration\*
you have no prior experience in software engineering teams\*
you only want to work with specific technologies instead of the entire development stack\*

Optery’s product is sold to iniduals, families, small and medium sized businesses, large enterprises, and state, local, and federal government agencies and departments. In this respect, it is similar to companies like LastPass, DropBox, and McAfee in that it is sold both to iniduals directly, and to businesses for distribution to employees. The role requires outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a well-rounded cross functional skill set.
We will geek out together launching new products, features and functionality that eradicates consumer data from data broker platforms using new and clever approaches.

About CircuitHub
CircuitHub is reshaping electronics manufacturing with The Grid —a factory-scale robotics platform designed to make small-batch, high-mix electronics assembly radically more efficient. Think semiconductor-fab levels of precision applied to the chaotic world of prototyping and low-volume production. The result? A 10x throughput improvement in one of the world’s most foundational industries.
We’ve raised $20M from top-tier investors including Y Combinator and Google Ventures —and we’re already profitable. Our customers include industry leaders like Tesla, Meta, and Zipline.
The Grid isn’t a prototype—it’s live, scaling fast, and already delivering real revenue. We’re now building the engineering core that will scale it further.
What We’re Looking For
We’re hiring full-stack robotics engineers to keep The Grid operational and push its limits. This is a hands-on, high-impact role based full-time on-site in Western Massachusetts for a minimum of two years. After that, relocation to a future Grid site or a remote transition may be possible.
You’ll be embedded directly in the factory, owning both physical and software systems: tuning camera networks, fixing robot reliability issues, deploying new subsystems, and driving bold experiments to increase throughput. This is not a “write tickets, wait for ops” job. You are the ops.
Who This Role Is For
This role is only suitable for someone who has built full robotic systems —whether as a hobbyist, student, employee, or founder. You’ll be expected to integrate software, hardware, and process into functional systems and debug failures under real-world production pressure.
We don’t hire narrow specialists. We want engineers who can:
*
Diagnose system-wide failures from first principles\*
Prototype mechanical and software fixes on the fly\*
Work autonomously and communicate clearly to a remote team\*
Take full responsibility for uptime and performance in live production\Example Tasks
*
Configure and debug a distributed GigE vision system\*
Analyze end effector behavior from video and revise its geometry\*
Prototype and deploy a new test robot for in-line PCB validation\*
Travel to London/Cambridge to brief R&D teams and shape roadmap priorities\Why This Role Matters
You’ll be the eyes, hands, and brain of The Grid—directly responsible for keeping one of the most advanced electronics assembly systems in the world operating and evolving. You’ll have board-level visibility and help shape the future of our automation stack from the ground up.
This is a career-defining opportunity for a high-agency engineer early in their career. If you thrive on ownership and solving real problems with real hardware, there’s no better place to be.
What Will Set You Apart
*
Demonstrated ability to build full robotic systems (projects, startups, labs, competitions)\*
Strong skills in **mechanical CAD** , **low-level Python or C++** , and **basic electronics**\*
Experience debugging production systems under time and reliability pressure\*
Willingness to **live and breathe the system** for 2+ years on-site\Key Tools & Technologies
*
**Python** for control and automation\*
**Beckhoff TwinCAT** for industrial PLC integration\*
**SolidWorks** and/or **Fusion 360** for mechanical design\*

* Partner with the Integrations Program Manager to share real-time customer feedback and edge-case patterns

* Strong familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and HR platforms like Azure Active Directory, Workday, and Google Workspace* Strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to talk through workflows clearly with non-technical users* A highly independent operator who’s also deeply collaborative—comfortable working across Success, Product, and Engineering* Quick to jump into live calls, proactive in solving blockers, and confident owning the “how” of implementationNice to Have
* Familiarity with Zapier
