Title: Senior Product Manager, Machine Learning Platform

As our Senior Product Manager, you are a strategic leader on Xometry’s product management team, and are responsible for one of Xometry’s critical products. You will own the overall product strategy and vision for their product, develop and maintain a squad-specific strategy/vision, and hold squad members accountable for outcomes. Our Data Science “products” are a critical aspect of the user experience at Xometry. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding Xometry’s business and platform, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, identifying opportunities to add value to the platform using data science and machine learning, developing roadmaps, and working directly with technology leadership and all parts of the organization to manage the execution of the roadmap, including communication, marketing, and release plans.

What You’ll Need:

• • 5+ years of experience in high-growth marketplace, SaaS, or product-led tech environments
  • Direct experience working as a product manager for data products, at a company with a web-based product where the technology of the company is the product.
  • Deep understanding of the data science toolkit, including computational geometry, machine learning, statistical models, and model deployment

Primary responsibilities:

• Build and manage a SOC with a combination of in-house expertise and MSSP support where relevant or applicable
• Own, manage and configure intrusion detection systems, web-application firewalls (WAF) and other information security-related devices with support from the Infrastructure team.
• Ensure an optimised SIEM Solution and its integration with organisational devices and other sources of information (users, applications, networks, systems, access to physical assets, etc.).
• Work with the Infrastructure teams to ensure SIEM is consistently deployed and optimised across all environments. Help ready the organisation for adoption of SOAR and other security platforms including XDR as we mature our security operations.
• Responsible for security event/incident monitoring, endpoint monitoring and alerting, daily log reviews and regular user access reviews.
• Drive vulnerability management initiatives within the organisation and ensure proper analysis is performed for any detected vulnerability and aligned to risk management to ensure risk reduction.
• Operate a secure infrastructure by ensuring that all server and desktop systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and fixes in conjunction with relevant internal teams.
• Ensure the configuration management database and asset management system are appropriately maintained and tracked.

As a member of our Cloud Operations Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high performance/availability databases for Unanet’s entire product offering. You will join a team of highly talented, rapidly moving engineers and administrators involved in nearly every aspect of the SaaS delivery and customer experience lifecycle.

We are looking for an experienced DBA with extensive experience designing, testing, and supporting next-generation database solutions in Postgres enterprise and SQL Server environments. You should be proficient in an assortment of technologies, including AWS Aurora (Postgres) and MS SQL Server on both Windows and Linux operating systems on AWS. You should also be passionate about solving problems, forward-thinking, and able to evaluate impacts across the environment.

Your First 90 Days

In your First 30 Days, as your familiarity with our product line grows, your responsibilities and influence will grow as well. You will become immersed in all facets of the daily operation of the production cloud database environment, including processes for provisioning new customers, pushing schema updates, reviewing metrics and alerts, troubleshooting, and blameless incident postmortems. You will work with our development leaders of our GovCon ERP product to build knowledge of the database schema. Further, you will collaborate with members of both the Product Development and Cloud Development teams to help ensure operations can support new functionality.
