About the Job
Offensive Security is looking for a results-oriented Content Developer; System Administration and Infrastructure to join our international team. The Content Developer will be responsible for writing, developing and refreshing content for our online introductory topics and learning paths. The successful candidate will have familiarity with Offensive Security course materials and experience in the defensive area as a technical consultant or internal team member.
We are looking for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and has the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
Duties and responsibilities
- Content creation is the primary duty which includes drafting topic outlines and writing content.
- Development is expected to be performed, which includes discovering case studies and writing necessary code used to teach the content.
- Responsible for the design and implementation of hands-on exercises that test students based on written content.
- Since Offensive Security training is hands-on, the duties of the position also include the creation of virtual machines supporting the content.
- Additional duties include technical assistance to colleagues when needed.
- As the Content Developer, you are a spokesperson for the courses and materials you are writing.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience working with system administration and hardening.
- Experience with Active Directory in enterprise settings, including server side applications like Exchange, SCCM and MSSQL.
- Competent in programming languages like PowerShell, C# or Python.
- Strong command of the English language, including excellent explanation skills
- Effective writing skills and the ability to express yourself with a high level of detail and precision
- Ability to effectively communicate well among varied audiences
- Prior online content development experience is ideal but not required
- Experience collaborating across cultures, continents and time-zones

EcoHealth Alliance seeks a highly organized, collaborative, and self-driven Research Assistant to support multiple projects in disease ecology, forecasting, and open-source software. This half administrative, half research position is based in our computational sciences group and is an excellent opportunity for experience and training in disease-related data science at a rapidly growing NGO with ersely funded scientific research programs around the world focused on conservation and zoonotic disease emergence. The research assistant will conduct literature reviews, data source discovery, data curation, and data quality assurance, assist in writing manuscripts and grants, preparing presentations and reports, and other project administrative tasks. They will work with team members to organize and automate manual tasks and receive training in data science skills such as R programming. A passion for One Health research, a collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm for organization and efficiency are key.
This position is based in New York City with a remote (including international) option. Visa sponsorship and moving expenses are available for hires to move to work primarily in-office. - Conduct literature reviews to harvest and generate data sets as well as developing detailed background for grant proposals, scientific manuscripts and other project needs
- Manage and assist with data curation using GitHub, R, ODK, and AirTable
- Assist with data analyses and produce data summaries and visualizations
- Assist with generating high quality scientific manuscripts for publication

Customer Implementation Associate

We are looking to hire a Customer Implementation Associate to configure Column’s public notice software platform to meet our publishers’ technical and business needs. You will be responsible for owning backend implementation tasks, timelines, and deliverables. What You’ll Do
- First Week: You will learn about Column’s mission and vision and seek to understand our story. The first few days you’ll focus on getting access to software, a general understanding of The Who, Why & How of implementation, and building interpersonal rapport.
- First Month: You will gain a deeper understanding of the Column platform as well as internal tools used for configuration. (e.g., Jira, ReTool, IDML, Typeform and Zapier). You will begin to serve as a backup for customer support as needed.
- First Six Months: You will become a Column platform expert with your own portfolio of publishers with whom you will be the lead implementation associate. You’ll be in the weeds of implementation and will start to suggest and own process improvements. You will be evaluated against metrics such as, % of Jira tickets that require re-work and average time to implement publishers on the Column platform.
- First Year: You will be a key player in Column configuration and the customer journey. You’ll be working with Product and Engineering on implementation challenges for future enterprise publishers. You’ll begin to identify additional areas of interest and growth for yourself within the company.

How we’ll take care of you:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $180,000 and $245,000. The Role

About the Data Science Team
We’re looking for data scientists with deep expertise in machine learning, optimization, building data products, and/or statistics. As part of a small product team you will have full ownership over your domain, so you should be a person who dreams big, then executes well.
At Thumbtack, the Data Science team is responsible for a wide variety of problems spanning machine learning, statistics, and computer science:
- Characterize marketplace dynamics. Thumbtack’s marketplaces consist of thousands of active markets across our service categories and U.S. cities. Via exploratory data analysis and experimental design, our team works to understand trends and behaviors within these markets.
- Improve customer and service provider matching. Matching and optimization algorithms are fundamental to Thumbtack’s product: we now service millions of matches per week. Identifying better matches between customers and service providers has an incredible impact on the experience of customers and professionals transacting on our platform.
- Model complex relationships in the presence of many confounding factors. Predictive modeling problems are everywhere across our product. Our team works to scope, design and implement machine learning models to support Thumbtack’s product.

Our team is at the forefront of a massive amount of user data. Who we seek:
As a client-facing Technical Training Specialist, you will assist with content writing and deliver a variety of educational programs to global BigID partners and customers through in-person and remote venues. You will advance internal and external knowledge initiatives, help drive adoption of BigID’s technology within enterprise customers, and help manage the certification program. You will also manage and leverage various training systems to schedule, track, and support all educational activities.
In this role, you will serve as a technical hands-on coach to customers, partners, and colleagues, acting as a trusted authority on solution value and use cases, best practices, and general product knowledge. Training sessions are delivered remotely and in-person, depending on client need. Some domestic and international travel will be required.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in post-sales, engineering, or customer success. Prior software development or enterprise support experience is a strong plus but not mandatory.
What you’ll do:
As a Technical Training Specialist, you will:
- Deliver in-person and remote training for all BigID course offerings, including standard customer/partner training and internal technical training for field teams.
- Work closely with the Training Content and Delivery Manager, and field, product, and engineering teams to enhance and improve existing content and develop new training content.
- In collaboration with the Training Content and Delivery Manager and other technical trainers, design and produce eLearning content (videos, interactive presentations, exercise labs, and other interactive training offerings), emphasizing clarity, quality, and engagement.
- Assist with training discovery and planning calls with prospects, explaining our training portfolio and helping with course tailoring tasks as relevant.
- Contribute to and enhance internal and external knowledge assets like the technical knowledge base, technical documentation, technical blogs, and white papers.
- Provides detailed feedback and guidance to Product Management and Engineering teams arising from customer use cases, functional requirements, and product enhancement requests.
- Take ownership of BigID University’s social media channels, contribute daily content, and build a global following.
- Manage all social media promotion and outreach of BigID University and in-person training events.
What you’ll bring:
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Instructional Design, or other related technical disciplines (professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree).
- 2+ years of professional experience in information technology, ideally in a customer-facing hands-on role involving professional services, consulting, customer success or product implementation.
- 2+ years content writing experience, including static slides and hands-on exercises.
- 2+ years of customer-facing technical training delivery experience.
- Demonstrable experience as an eLearning Designer, Instructional Designer, or Curriculum Developer in an industry domain.
- Software development or other technical background.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills.
- Experience with modern eLearning tools and approaches including video authoring, audio editing and narration, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure), databases (Oracle/MySQL), enterprise applications (Salesforce/SAP).
- Experience with social media content creation, promotion, and metrics.

The annual base salary range is $75,000 – $90,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is just one component of our Compensation Philosophy. Variable/Bonus Compensation & Equity Incentives align with inidual and company performance.

- You have a deep understanding of identity and access management, security best practices, and a solid understanding of SOC2, SOX, and PCI compliance requirements.
- You are adept at seeing the big picture without losing focus on the details when needed. You’ve successfully focused disparate teams and competing priorities toward a common goal.
- You evaluate solutions for impacts to people, process, and technology. You are capable of identifying gaps and raising issues, even when it’s uncomfortable, seeking the optimal solution.
- You have extensive experience navigating erse, global organizations and building healthy relationships regardless of role or level.
