Qualifications

Compensation

Reporting to the Senior Director of Planned Giving, the Estate Administration Manager will be responsible for the estate administration process for bequests from wills, trusts, split-interest agreements, perpetual trusts, gifts left by beneficiary designation, and other testamentary instruments. Responsibilities Include

Estate Administration (80%)

• Serve as the National Geographic Society's primary liaison to manage the bequest/estate administration process from first notification to receipt of final gifts. The Controller plays a critical leadership role in ensuring financial integrity, driving operational improvements, and supporting continued growth. Qualifications

Starting annual base salary is $60,000 to $80,000 based on a 35-hour work week for this non-exempt position. Total compensation may increase with overtime pay and eligibility for various bonuses. A professional development reimbursement and technology stipend are also provided on an annual basis. Please note that the base salary offered may vary depending on relevant factors as determined by Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, which may include, but is not limited to, education, skill, experience, licensure and certifications, internal salary ranges, geographical location, and other business needs.
