The work includes data ingestion pipelines, data architecture, data governance and security. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and migrations who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up.

The Sr. Consultant, Data Engineer will develop database architectures, data warehouses and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing customer projects. Your New Role:

As a Senior WAF Security Engineer - Edge/Perimeter, the ideal candidate is expected to:

Qualifications & Experiences:

• 5+ years of experience in application or network security with direct hands-on work in WAF/DDoS solutions.

About The Role 

CarMax relies on our supply chain as a key differentiator. Key questions include how many cars we should acquire, which acquisition channels we should prioritize, how to optimize those channels, how to efficiently move millions of cars a year, when and where to recondition those vehicles, how to best allocate the retail cars across our 200+ stores, and how to maximize profitability in our auctions for our wholesale cars. This role is focusing on the Analytics and Alerts group. As a Software Engineer you will focus on the following areas:

• Develop and enhance our customer-facing APIs focusing on performance, reliability, and an intuitive user experience.
• Design, build, and maintain our near real-time alerting platform, from data processing and anomaly detection to reliable notification delivery.
• Optimise the performance of complex analytical queries that power our APIs and dashboards, working closely with the database platform team.

Key Qualifications

Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work area.
