Job Summary

The ASG Presales Solutions Engineer - Identity collaborates with account teams to assess customer cybersecurity needs. will be a customer-facing cloud security expert. They will take a consultative approach to security projects and have a holistic understanding of how security technology enables business.  The Solutions Engineer will also develop and deliver new security services offerings to address customer requests/opportunities.

This position is a remote position that may be required to report to the office in Austin, Texas, as required for business needs and as determined by SHI management.

• Collaboration  with multiple layers of contacts within client organizations, including but not limited to CIO, CSO, CISO, Security Engineers, and procurement to strengthen our overall customer relationship and better understand the goals and objectives they are trying to achieve.

• Understand the company’s services offerings in all solution practice areas by attending company training and expanding knowledge through self-study.

Your first 0-6 Months:

About the Job

The Tier 2 SOC Analyst / Watch Officer serves as the escalation point for Tier 1 alerts and incidents, leading tactical investigation, containment, and remediation efforts. You will act as the on-shift lead, providing technical guidance, situational awareness, and operational direction during live security events. This role requires deep technical knowledge, investigative instinct and the ability to make real-time decisions under pressure. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex DevOps and infrastructure programs, including perform in-depth triage and analysis of escalated alerts to determine scope, impact and root cause
• Lead response actions such as isolating hosts, revoking credentials or blocking network indicators
• Examine endpoint, network and cloud logs to reconstruct attack timelines and adversary behaviors
• Execute and enhance incident response playbooks, detection rules and escalation criteria
• Maintain operational command during assigned shifts, ensuring situational awareness, incident logging and proper shift handovers

What you will do

• Design and lead the packaging and productization of software for RH AI core platform components to leverage the power of hardware accelerators.

• Work closely with Engineering, Product Management and Support stakeholders to prioritize features and bugs during all phases of development

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration within the software development lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and innovation in engineering practices; share use cases for successful experiments with stakeholders for broader use.

• Develop architectural and design principles with an eye on performance, resilience, scalability, security, technology constraints and comprehensibility.

• Explore and experiment with emerging AI technologies relevant to software development, proactively identifying opportunities to incorporate new AI capabilities into existing workflows and tooling.

• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing LLMs for relevant tasks and proactively utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) for code generation, auto-completion, and intelligent suggestions to accelerate development cycles and enhance code quality.

• Communicate architectural concepts and decisions to various audiences

• Be a coach and mentor to more junior members of the team and help expand their skills sets

What you will bring

• Strong experience with RHEL or other Linux distributions

• Strong experience with software development with programming languages such as Python, Go or similar

• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis

• Experience with container technologies, such as Kubernetes/OpenShift and Podman

• Hands-on learning and demonstrable experience with implementing and owning complex features inidually and in collaboration with others

Considered a plus

• Previous experience with hardware acceleration, either generic GPU experience or specific ones, such as CUDA and ROCm

• Understanding of Python packing ecosystem

• Knowledge of AI frameworks, such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow

The salary range for this position is $189,600.00 - $312,730.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. Minimum Requirements:

Requires an AA/AS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience with 3 years experience in a professional/leadership role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

HOW A LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Provide system administration support for Linux operating systems including installing software, applying patches, managing file systems, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting alerts from monitoring tools.
• Analyzes and resolves problems associated with the operating system, servers, hardware, and applications software. Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems on servers, including system failure analysis and recovery, insuring the consistency and integrity of file systems.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. Title: Security Rick & Compliance Analyst

As a Security Risk and Compliance Analyst, your role is essential in maintaining the security and compliance of our cloud-centric, modern systems. You will support Risk, Audit, Legal, and Compliance activities related to Information Systems and Security. Additionally, you will contribute to planning for HITRUST maturity, promote sustainable practices, and support the expansion of our operations.

• Support the modernization and optimization of Security-related policies and procedures, aligning with corporate Risks, Audit, Legal, and Compliance needs.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of security GRC processes.

• Participate in vulnerability assessment efforts, adopting a Cloud First approach and adhering to the latest security standards for cloud environments.

• Help with HITRUST certifications and support maturity in security and compliance endeavors.

• Contribute to the management of the third-party risk program, ensuring vendor alignment with our principles.

• Help audit access rights, prioritizing a Cloud First approach and modern systems.

• Contribute to developing security requirements for new company initiatives, with an emphasis on sustainability and operation expansion.

• Support the creation and review of all Security-related policies and procedures, integrating corporate Risks, Audit, Legal, and Compliance requirements into the Information Security Program.

• Serve as a supportive liaison for the Compliance, Security, and Risk Management (CSRM) Committee.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

• 3+ years of experience in Information Security roles.

• Experience within Healthcare Compliance.

• Familiarity with Internal Controls, Security Policies and Procedures, Action Planning, and Execution.

• Understanding of the selection, implementation, and maintenance of security and compliance tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanning, or identity management solutions.

• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk management approaches and processes.

• Awareness of security practices and controls to address security risks, applying frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, and ISO.

• Understanding of IT Compliance and Security principles.

• Familiarity with Compliance and Local Regulations as well as Federal Regulations relevant to the Healthcare Industry.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Flexible hybrid work model with certain on-site workdays (Puerto Rico location).
