As part of the RDI team, you will:
- Design, implement, and optimize AI/GenAI systems including LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
- Build and maintain microservices and APIs using Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and FastAPI.

What you’ll do as a Solutions Engineer
You are the technical lynchpin through the entire sales cycle - pre-sales and account technical leadership. Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. What You Will Do
Collaborate with the network operations team to maintain and enhance the performance and availability of enterprise network infrastructure, including data, video, voice, and wireless systems. Lead efforts in developing installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures, and provide technical leadership on operational and project-related work. Design and implement network solutions that minimize outages and ensure a seamless user experience. Conduct service analysis, respond to escalated issues, and work with internal teams and external providers to ensure effective delivery. Oversee planned maintenance activities, configure and support network equipment, and interface with business users to define communication requirements. Contribute to process documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring To Freeport

What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $107,000-$149,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and inidual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. This position plays a key role in proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across TPU’s IT and OT environments.
This role leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the TPU’s Vulnerability Management Program, including the configuration and tuning of vulnerability scanning tools, coordination of remediation activities with system owners and administrators, and integration of vulnerability intelligence into risk-based decision-making. The engineer ensures vulnerabilities are prioritized and remediated in alignment with business impact, exploitability, and regulatory requirements.
As a subject matter expert in vulnerability assessment, secure configuration, and endpoint protection practices, this position contributes to system and application hardening, supports secure architecture reviews, and advises on remediation and risk mitigation strategies. The engineer also plays a key role in maintaining the health and effectiveness of security platforms that enable vulnerability detection, endpoint detection and response (EDR), asset visibility, and configuration compliance across TPU’s hybrid IT/OT infrastructure.
Through mentorship of junior engineers and analysts, oversight of vulnerability lifecycle processes, and ownership of assigned NERC-CIP compliance responsibilities, this position supports the resilience and compliance of TPU’s essential services. This position directly influences the maturity and effectiveness of the cybersecurity operations program and strengthens TPU’s ability to manage risk and remain secure in the face of evolving threats.
Job Responsibilities:Lead TPU’s Vulnerability Management (VM) Program: Identify and implement program and process areas for improvements, and revise annually or in response to new organizational, threat, and compliance-driven requirements to drive continual improvement of the VM Program, ensuring vulnerability-related risk is visible, prioritized, and effectively managed by the organization.
Operate and maintain VM tools: Conduct vulnerability scans across IT and OT systems, analyze and validate results, maintain scanning tools, and create tickets for system owners. Communicate with VM Program stakeholders, consult on appropriate remediation strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Contribute to the design and implementation of frameworks and libraries in Golang that support bootstrapping, shared services, observability, authentication, RPC/REST tooling, and CI/CD templates.
Collaborate with the Kotlin framework owner and other engineers to ensure cross-runtime consistency, thereby unifying the developer experience across Go, Kotlin, and other runtimes.
Build and enhance reusable components for logging, tracing, metrics, configuration management, rate limiting, and service-to-service communication.
Keep frameworks aligned with evolving industry standards (e.g., OpenTelemetry, gRPC/HTTP middleware, Go upgrades, Spring Boot integrations).

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
