Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Team
As part of the Anthropic security department, the compliance team owns understanding security and AI safety expectations, as established by regulators, customers and (nascent) industry norms (which we also seek to influence). The compliance team uses this understanding to provide direction to internal partners on the priorities of security and safety requirements they must meet. The compliance team assures regulators and customers that those expectations are met by earning security credentials and responding to direct inquiry about Anthropic's security program from auditors, customers and partners.
This opportunity is unique, as we work to secure today's most novel and valuable asset types, we must build a new kind of compliance program, assuring the safety of artificial intelligence capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Understand how Anthropic's security and privacy capabilities across major cloud platforms implement common frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, CSA CCM, and SOC 2).
- Build scalable data center and cloud compliance processes and documentation systems that will support future expansion to additional geographies and compliance frameworks.
- Assess and mitigate security and operational risks, implementing corrective actions, and managing vendor compliance.
- Coordinate engagements with independent assessors to earn security and privacy certifications and attestations important to Anthropic customers and enterprise partnerships, and to meet regulatory obligations.

- Maintain and enhance Anthropic's system of security controls through audit readiness, recordkeeping, and cross-functional communication.
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 8+ years of progressive experience in audit and compliance roles, with direct ownership of certification/attestation projects
- Have worked in cloud-native environments and understand security and privacy considerations for multi-cloud architectures
- Can translate complex compliance requirements into actionable workstreams for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Have built common controls frameworks or GRC systems that scaled with organizational growth
- Write clear and useful security and privacy documentation for both external and internal audiences.
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where you'll need to build processes from scratch
- Are comfortable organizing time-bounded task management of delegated work streams across a erse organization

- Bring experience from high-growth technology companies managing rapid compliance expansion
- Have some experience implementing automated enforcement of security controls (i.e., compliance as code)
- Possess relevant certifications (CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer)
Candidates need not have:
- Done everything on this list before-we value learning agility and willingness to tackle novel compliance challenges in the AI space
Deadline to Apply: None, applications will be received on a rolling basis.
The annual compensation range for this role is below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Our total compensation package for full-time employees includes equity and benefits.
Annual Salary:
$255,000-$345,000 USD
Logistics
Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of erse perspectives on our team.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact - advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI - rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. We are a passionate, remote-first team on a mission to enable a fairer, more decentralized world by making complex blockchain technologies accessible to everyone.
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development and scaling of our core off-chain coordination service. This position is vital for the success of our solver-based architecture and requires a deep focus on security, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

- Real-Time Distribution: Build and optimize infrastructure for the immediate broadcasting of validated data to external liquidity providers and execution partners.
- Lifecycle Tracking: Integrate with data indexing services to monitor the multi-phase status of core system objects across distributed environments.
- Optimization: Implement advanced logic for data aggregation, caching, and partner reputation systems to ensure an optimal user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Smart Contract and Product teams to ensure seamless integration and provide comprehensive documentation for backend architecture.
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by high-stakes technical challenges.

- Databases: Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and complex query optimization.
- Professionalism: Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and "own" projects from end-to-end.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with blockchain indexing services (e.g., The Graph, Goldsky).
- Familiarity with Intent-centric architectures, Solvers, or off-chain order matching.
- Direct experience with cross-chain message passing or oracles (e.g., Wormhole).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud-native deployments (K8s, AWS/GCP).
Benefits
We believe in ownership, continuous learning, and maintaining a light-hearted, respectful culture.
- Ownership & Equity: Equity participation from Day 1.

Since 2011, our mission hasn't changed - we're here to stop breaches, and we've redefined modern security with the world's most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We're also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We're always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.
About The Role:
CrowdStrike's Falcon sensor runs on millions of endpoints globally, protecting more than half of the Fortune 500 companies. It's a high-performance, lightweight agent that detects and prevents sophisticated threats in real-time. It's one of the most widely deployed security platforms in the world, running across every major OS and architecture.
We're looking for a Platform Engineer to build the development infrastructure that powers this massive-scale, cross-platform system. You'll architect the build systems, deployment pipelines, and developer tools that enable our sensor teams to ship production code faster and more reliably. Think of this as building the platform that builds the platform - solving complex distributed build challenges, creating hermetic cross-compilation systems, and designing developer experiences that eliminate friction at scale.
This role sits at the intersection of systems programming, developer productivity, and production infrastructure. You'll work in Python (primarily) with touches of C/C++ when needed, solving problems like: How do we build and test across 10+ OS/architecture combinations in minutes? How do we give developers instant feedback on cross-platform compatibility? How do we deploy sensor updates to millions of endpoints with zero downtime?
Location:
This is a hybrid role based near our Sunnyvale, CA (CA Bay Area), Redmond, WA (Seattle, WA Area) or Austin, TX offices, with an expectation of approximately two days per week in-office to foster collaboration with other team members within the teams.
What You'll Do:
Build production-grade platform systems that power cross-platform sensor development across Windows, Linux, and macOS
Architect build and release infrastructure that handles complex cross-compilation, dependency management, and hermetic builds at scale
Design developer-facing APIs and tools that abstract away platform complexity and accelerate feature velocity
Engineer CI/CD systems that provide fast feedback loops and enable confident, frequent deployments
Drive platform evolution by identifying bottlenecks, prototyping solutions, and shipping improvements that measurably improve developer productivity
Collaborate with sensor teams to understand their workflows and build leverage points that multiply their effectiveness
What You'll Need:
5+ years building production systems with focus on platform engineering, developer tools, or systems programming
Deep Python expertise - you write idiomatic, performant Python and understand its internals
Cross-platform development experience - you've dealt with the reality of Windows/Linux/macOS differences
Systems thinking - you understand build systems, compilers, linkers, and how software actually gets built
Collaboration skills - you can work with distributed teams and translate needs into technical solutions
Experience with GenAI-assisted development workflows or building AI-powered developer tools
Bonus Points:
C/C++ experience for low-level system integration
Build system expertise (Bazel, CMake, or custom build infrastructure)
CI/CD platform architecture (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar at scale)
Track record of measurably improving developer productivity (e.g., "reduced build times by 60%," "eliminated 80% of cross-platform bugs pre-merge")
Experience with Rust

Red Hat is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to develop, scale, and operate our OpenShift managed cloud services. OpenShift is Red Hat's enterprise Kubernetes distribution. As an SRE you will contribute to running OpenShift at scale by enabling customer self-service, making our monitoring system more sustainable, and eliminating work through automation.
At Red Hat, our commitment to open source innovation extends beyond our products - it's embedded in how we work and grow. That's why we encourage our teams to proactively, thoughtfully, and ethically use AI to simplify their workflows, cut complexity, and boost efficiency. This empowers our associates to focus on higher-impact work, creating smart, more innovative solutions that solve our customers' most pressing challenges.
On the SRE team, you will have the opportunity to influence the complex challenges of scale which are unique to Red Hat managed cloud services, while using your skills in coding, operations, and large-scale distributed system design.
Red Hat relies on teamwork and openness for its success. We are a global team and strive to cultivate a transparent environment that makes room for different voices. We learn from our failures in a blameless environment to support the continuous improvement of the team. At Red Hat, your inidual contributions have more visibility than most large companies, and visibility means career opportunities and growth.
What you will do
The day-to-day responsibilities of an SRE involve working with live systems and coding automation. As an SRE you will be expected to:
Contribute code to increase the scalability and reliability of the service
Contribute software tests and participate in peer review to increase the quality of our codebase
Help and develop peers' capabilities through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and collaboration
Participate in a regular on-call schedule, including occasional paid weekends and holidays
Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
Resolve customer issues escalated from the Red Hat Global Support team
Work within a small agile team to develop and improve SRE software, support your peers, plan and self-improve
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration within the software development lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and innovation in engineering practices; share use cases for successful experiments with stakeholders for broader use.
What you will bring

As an SRE you will be most successful if you have some experience troubleshooting an as-a-service offering (SaaS, PaaS, etc.) and some experience working with complex distributed systems. Direct experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift is a plus. We like to see a demonstrated ability to debug, optimize code and automate routine tasks. We are Red Hat, so you need a basic understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.
Desired skills
5+ years of experience managing Linux servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, or Fedora hosted at a cloud provider such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Compute Engine (GCE), or Microsoft Azure
