About the Payroll Specialist position:

Start the new year with an exciting opportunity. Bullseye Talent Solutions, a professional staffing agency, is seeking candidates for a part-time, long-term contract position for a Payroll Specialist with a highly regarded healthcare company in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Payroll Specialist responsibilities include:

• Perform all payroll system functions required to load time and attendance records and calculate and confirm paychecks in an accurate and timely manner.  Prepare and submit direct deposit information.  Process interface files for payroll sub-systems and vendors. Distribute payroll related data and reports. Coordinate manual check processing as needed. 
• Complete audits and balance payroll data (employee records and status changes, time and attendance records, deductions, and earnings totals) to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards. Document and update payroll related procedures. Assist with annual W2 preparation to ensure accurate and timely distribution of wage data. 
• Maintain the high levels of confidentiality regarding payroll related data. Assist with payroll help desk support offering guidance to managers and associates with time, attendance, and check calculation questions. 
• Calculate wage payments, including overtime calculations, retro-active pays, pre-tax deductions, involuntary withholdings, and all applicable taxes using standardized tax calculation methods.  Calculate and process leave accrual balance adjustments. 
• Work with Human Resources to process status changes related to pay in a timely and accurate manner. Work with Information Systems to resolve system performance issues. 
• Assist Payroll Manager with special projects related to payroll. Produce standard and ad hoc reports as needed for management and external auditors. Prepare payroll journal entries for Accounting within specified monthly timeframes. 
• Provide other payroll support functions as needed.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Legal Operations Associate will be an instrumental part of driving the day-to-day legal business operations that will support our company’s mission to provide clarity across all life’s financial decisions!

Voldex is an acquirer of games on UGC platforms. We are searching for a Head of Acquisitions to partner with the CEO to acquire some of UGC gaming’s top titles. What does the Legal department look like?

A growing team, you will have a broad portfolio that lets you engage with every part of the business. We are looking for a new Compliance Manager to be our first compliance hire within the Legal Team, reporting to the Head of Legal. We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about all things compliance, to help us embed standards across all of our work streams and ensure we adhere to legislation and in-house policies.

This is a policy and process focused role, where we expect you to be adaptable maintaining a high standard of compliance across all of our different practice areas, whilst looking for initiatives to allow us to continuously improve. The type of person we would love to meet:

• Experience in internal or external audit, internal controls, risk assessment/management, regulatory compliance or governance within a start-up scale up or regulated environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to write at a publication quality level in order to communicate findings and recommendations to the Head of Legal and SLT
• Ability to identify observations and recommendations for business operations and control issues associated with key risk disciplines (including legal, regulatory, and operational)
• Proven track record of designing, implementing risk frameworks and internal audit

The Luminos Fund, an international nonprofit bringing education opportunities to the world's most vulnerable children, seeks a Grant Finance and Compliance Manager to contribute to its rapid growth and expansion.   

The Grant Finance and Compliance Manager is a cross-cutting role that will work across multiple functions and teams at Luminos, including grant management, finance, compliance, contracting, programs, and operations. The Grant Finance and Compliance Manager will sit within the Finance team at Luminos, and report to the Director of Finance and Administration.  

This full-time position can be based anywhere in the GMT -5 to +3 time zones (e.g., Boston, London, Addis Ababa, etc.). It will involve a certain amount of international travel to challenging contexts in the developing world.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

GRANT AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT  

• Monitor and coordinate the implementation of donor agreements and subawards and ensure that financial management policies and procedures are followed.  
• Ensure timely and accurate interpretation and implementation of donor restrictions and requirements.  
• Maximize the use of project budgets through effective allocation of expenditures across various grants.  
• Maintain and enhance the grants management dashboard in Salesforce.

• Process partner and supplier invoices in a timely manner.

COMPLIANCE 

• Manage compliance and legal processes for Luminos' local entities and in-country partners, including local labor laws, tax filing, registration, annual subsidiary board meetings, etc.  
• Ensure staff and partners are in compliance with child protection, whistle-blower, and other critical risk management policies.  

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.  
• Advanced skills in Excel and Salesforce. Eagerness to learn new applications.  
• At least five years of experience in the international development sector working with international organizations in a finance, grant management, and/or compliance capacity.

• Review fund and related entity tax filings, including provision of selected tax related data to third party preparers (including tax impact of flow through investments)
• Provide an effective system of tracking all tax filings for preparation through completion
• Calculate capital gains and losses, including year to date carried interest analysis
• Review investor distributions to coordinate and remit tax withholding as applicable (federal and state)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or L.L.M.
• 4+ years tax experience, private equity or real estate partnership taxation experience preferred
• CPA qualification desired

THE ROLE: Legal Assistant, Legal & Business Affairs

Provide administrative support to Legal & Business Affairs lawyers and others in the NY Content Group responsible for interacting with a large number of production companies and their representatives (lawyers, agents, etc.) and internal clients throughout the company.

Assistant and Administrative role:

• Manage and organize paper flow (e.g., draft transmittal letters/emails, prepare/format agreements for signatures, return originals to clients [likely via DocuSign], file all relevant documentation [including important emails] in legal electronic document system, eDocs, and [as requested] hard files).
• Handle the L&BA function responsible for facilitating the processing of programming-related payments in a timely manner (requiring significant interaction with external production-company personnel and internal Accounting colleagues).
• Create, distribute, and maintain organized and up-to-date assignment lists, files and tracking spreadsheets (paper and electronic). Recommend processes (or modifications to processes) to increase team’s efficiencies. General administrative support, including scheduling meetings and calls [e.g., Zoom, Teams, in person bookings], managing attorney schedules, handling travel arrangements and expenses, and overseeing team’s vacation calendar.
• Coordination of workload and tasks with other team assistant required, as well as with the ision Executive Assistant.
• Other tasks as assigned and necessary, including (if time permits), creating, revising and drafting basic documents (e.g., Deal Memos, amendments) under supervision of an attorney.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $29.04 – $36.44

Overview

In this high-profile role as Accounting Director, Revenue & Digital Assets you will help lead our accounting team into the next phase of our continued growth while working closely with the Accounting & Finance leadership teams. You will be collaborating with the accounting team to oversee our Revenue and Digital Assets portfolio, as well as provide continuous advisory on IPO and M&A readiness and addressing the need for continuous improvement and optimization of the relative accounting functions.

You have maximum autonomy to grow your client base and serve your clients. You are responsible for identifying prospect needs, communicating how you and Farther can help better manage client wealth, and demonstrating the unique value we can deliver together. You apply your history of success in acquiring client relationships and comprehensive financial knowledge base to bring new clients onto the Farther platform and serve them with excellence once they’re on board. 

You'll be supported every step of the way with technology that helps you prospect, eliminates tedious ops and admin work, and differentiates you from every other investment advisor out there.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Turn prospects into clients and clients into raving Farther fans
• Source and manage prospects, effectively utilize proprietary data-driven prospecting tools, hone multiple outreach efforts, and build deep relationships with clients
• Consult with clients on wealth management strategies and guide them to achieve their personal and financial goals

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven track record of success in acquiring new wealth management relationships
• Consistently demonstrated ambition, drive, and grit
• Expert, current knowledge of investment products and services across personal finance 
• Ability to convey financial advice with empathy, understanding, humility, and confidence
• Passion for building a better personal finance experience
• Series 65 or equivalent; clean U4

TRANSITIONS

We make bringing over your existing client base a seamless experience. We'll work with you to build a transition plan, guide you through communications, and handle the ops and admin work for you.
