Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in programming, debugging, and performance tuning distributed and/or highly concurrent C/C++ software systems. Candidates with more experience will be considered for more senior roles. Experience in C++ is preferable, but not required

Scope of Work:

The Technical Lead will oversee and support a ~15-20-person technical team to sustain and develop modifications for the ETIMS (JAVA/C# with Oracle backend) enterprise application which is hosted on the AWS Cloud infrastructure. Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time experienced Program Quality Engineer to perform as the Design Quality Engineer of a team of quality engineers that will execute Engineering Quality Assurance tasks on new Program Designs.

Responsible for ensuring quality engineering input is accounted for and modeled appropriately in all value chains such that the total Cost of Quality (CoQ) is right-sized throughout the life of a program. What will the work look like for me?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IT Auditor with a strong background in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating all IT in-scope servers and applications for IT general controls (ITGCs), IT Application Controls (ITACs), IT Integration Controls (ITICs), Information Provided by Entity (IPE); Critical Audit Reporting (internally called CAR) processes, performing risk assessments, and ensuring the organization’s IT systems and processes comply with SOX and other regulations. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and control owners. 

The IT Auditor will collaborate with teams across Daktronics to lead and execute IT-focused audit programs including the design, documentation, and testing programs for existing and new system implementations. In conjunction with the Accounting internal controls team, the IT Auditor will be responsible for coordinating and providing information to external auditors, management, and the board of directors.

Key Responsibilities: 

 As our IT Auditor, your work will focus on the following areas:    

• Plan, conduct, and report results of IT SOX testing. 
• Ensure SOX requirements are not impacted or update controls as new software is released. 
• Execute SOX and Key Reports test procedures in alignment with departmental and external audit standards. 
• Lead and document walkthroughs of IT SOX controls. 
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls relative to control objectives.

As an Android Engineer at Monzo you'll work in a small, autonomous product squad alongside iOS Engineers, Backend Engineers, User Researchers, Product Designers, Product Managers, QA Testers, and Data Scientists.

Our Android app

Our app is 100% Kotlin, built using MVVM (Model View ViewModel) and Coordinators, and modularised by product feature.

We use RxJava, Retrofit and Moshi for API calls and Dagger for dependency injection. We’re starting to use Coroutines for most new features. Room is our choice for persistence, and we use repositories for interacting with data. We’ve built out our design system with Compose. 

We use GitHub Pull Requests to do code reviews, and write unit tests for our ViewModels, Coordinators, and any other classes which contain logic. We write tests for all of our Compose screens and snapshot test them with Happo. We also use Espresso to test flows, which are executed via our continuous integration system.

We’ve previously written about building Monzo Chat on Android, which goes into detail on some of these elements.
