About this team and role:

As a Staff Data Scientist supporting Global Operations, you will be a strategic partner in improving Mozilla’s operational efficiency, effectiveness, and scale. You are a hands-on builder who brings a strong analytical toolkit, fluency in AI technologies, and a deep appreciation for how complex operational systems work. What you’ll do:

• Lead the development of foundational reporting and metrics infrastructure for Global Operations, enabling timely, trusted visibility across the various Ops orgs. 

• Design and scale measurement frameworks that surface operational trends and performance drivers.

• Apply AI and automation tools (e.g. LLMs, GPT-based summarization, anomaly detection, task triage) to eliminate manual workstreams and improve productivity.

• Prototype and implement automation use cases that drive operational efficiency and compliance, while identifying similar opportunities for cost savings across the organization

• Define and implement core operational metrics that reflect efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality, enabling measurement at scale and continuous process improvement.

• Partner with operations, and product teams to define measurement needs, identify gaps, and implement tracking.

• Standardize operational metrics and dashboards in Looker, ensuring self-serve access and consistency across the organization.

• Drive root cause analysis and opportunity sizing to surface the highest-value areas for investment or process improvement.

What you’ll bring:

• BS or MS in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with demonstrated work on operations-focused projects.

• Hands-on experience with AI tooling and prototyping, particularly in service of process automation (LLMs, APIs, NLP, anomaly detection).

• Familiarity with operational domains such as Customer Experience (CX), Trust & Safety (T&S), or Ad Ops; ability to understand metrics like handle time, task pacing, or SLA completion without needing deep onboarding.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, and experience building data pipelines and dashboards using tools like Looker.

• Proficiency in Python or R for modeling, prototyping, and automation.

• Experience with metric standardization, KPI frameworks, and experimentation in operational settings.

About the role  

At Riverlane, we build new and advanced solutions to solve one of the hardest problems in quantum computing: quantum error correction (QEC). Our cutting-edge solutions must work seamlessly with varying customer requirements, in different environments and for multiple types of quantum computers. What you will do 

You will work alongside engineering teams throughout the entire feature development process of our products. You’ll identify test requirements for new features and design novel tests to ensure that the quality of our product remains high as these features are integrated. • Proven experience as a System Test Engineer

An Overview of This Role

The Custom Models team is responsible for Duo Self-Hosted, a key component in GitLab AI that allows customers to run GitLab Duo features in completely private environments, connecting GitLab to their own AI models.  The team works collaboratively with numerous teams to ensure a complete lifecycle of features that implement controls for customization and guarantee a smooth experience for our largest customers. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, game development, or related field, OR equivalent experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Game Producer, Project Manager, or similar role in game development

• Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams in Agile/Scrum environments

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills

• Proven track record of delivering features on time within constraints

• Familiarity with production tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or others)

• Experience in casual, mobile, or social game development preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience with remote distributed teams

• Exposure to analytics, data-driven decision making

• Familiarity with monetization, live ops, or gaming-as-a-service models

• Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation

As an Associate Solutions Engineer (Assoc. SE), you’ll be hands-on in this digital transformation. You’ll translate real-world requirements—whether a state budget request, a legislative bill analysis, or a procurement workflow—into working configurations in the Authorium no-code platform. Your work helps governments move from static documents to dynamic, auditable processes so customers realize value quickly and confidently. What You’ll Do

• Configure the platform. Translate customer documents and underlying workflows into Authorium. Configure solicitations, budget/grant programs, and legislative analysis processes by layering in approvals, routing logic, data validations, and business rules that bring digital government to life.
• Model processes & rules. Map current-state to future-state; maintain workflow diagrams, decision tables, and business-rules matrices that make configurations clear, repeatable, and auditable.
• Own quality. Proofread and test configurations end-to-end for accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and usability; maintain crisp documentation that de-risks delivery and speeds reviews.
• Troubleshoot & iterate. Reproduce issues, triage root causes (content vs. workflow vs. data), and propose fixes; escalate risks early with clear repro steps and options.
• Collaborate to deliver. Partner with Solutions Engineers (SEs) and Senior SEs to align on business rules, hit timelines, and continuously improve shared checklists, playbooks, and templates.
• Contribute to enablement. Share what you learn—create short how-tos, improve checklists, and participate in internal reviews so the whole team levels up.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in B2B SaaS, software implementation, process/workflow management, or document management (or equivalent education/experience).
• Strong Microsoft Word skills and comfort with enterprise tools/workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Technical acumen to understand and communicate process flows, rules, and dependencies.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; proactive, curious learner who shares knowledge.
