Brief Job Description:
The SWI QA Specialist III performs advanced (senior-level) quality assurance work involving planning, developing, and administering internal quality assurance and compliance activities. This position reviews recorded calls, reports, and screened intakes for quality assurance, compliance with policy and procedure, and provides critical feedback to SWI staff at all levels. This position routinely communicates with internal and external staff. This position participates in the coordination and monitoring of program improvement plans, identifies trends and patterns, and communicates quality assurance results to internal and external stakeholders. This position assists in analyzing data, reviewing policy, and preparing routine and ad hoc reports and reviews for stakeholders. This position participates in exigent projects requiring the capacity to quickly adjust priorities and workload, attention to detail, and timely productivity. This position works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Essential Job Functions (EJFs):

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Cardiac Imaging Core Lab (CICL), Directed by Scott D. Solomon, MD, is an academic research organization located within the Brigham and Women's Hospital, a Harvard-affiliated hospital. Through close collaboration with academic, NIH, and industry partners, the CICL supports a wide range of activities including echocardiographic study design, analysis, and central core lab operations for primarily large-scale national and international clinical trials. There are approximately 40 staff supporting 40+ clinical trials ongoing at any given time with a typical volume of 1000 - 1500 echos received each month.
Reporting to the CICL Executive Director and working under the supervision of Harvard Faculty Directors, the Sr. Echo Analyst is responsible for especially complex overreading of assigned studies. This overreading is a critical quality check of analysis already performed and requires expert judgement and skill which is over and above Echo Analyst level.
Qualifications
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as an integral part of the research team providing echocardiographic overreading for assigned studies.
Performs echocardiographic strain analysis of heart size and function in a high quality, scientific, and reproducible manner. These analyses may include but are not limited to: 2D, 3D, M Mode, Color Doppler, strain, etc.
Is an integral member of the QA review process of analyzed data and requests re-review as needed of assigned Echo Analysts.
Advises CICL Executive Director with technical research direction as it relates to the overall research scope of the CICL.
Participates in lab wide and/or project specific meetings.
Adheres to all CICL SOPs as well as internal system and technical requirements for performing within this role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MD with cardiovascular experience or PhD with cardiovascular research experience in human subject clinical trials is required.
Candidate requires either 5 years leadership experience within CICL or at least 10 years prior leadership experience overseeing echo analysis.
Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, cardiac pathophysiology hemodynamics and echocardiography assessment of heart disease is required. Advanced knowledge in echocardiography including but not limited to: 3-D, gradient analysis, etc. is preferred.

What You’ll Do…
As a Remote full-stack Senior Software Engineer, you will report to the CTO and help continue to expand the Relocity Platform, which intelligently streamlines, enriches and transforms the curated 'Personal Host' experience through a collection of applications and services. The ideal candidate should be a Laravel expert and Vue.js enthusiast who enjoys designing and building high quality applications. You should be a great communicator with terrific follow-through who is able to optimize on workflows and/or document changes concisely.
How You’ll Do It…
The scope of work may include but is not limited to the following:
- Help develop and expand exceptional frontend and backend applications
- Contribute to all aspects of the software process: including architecture, specification reviews, testing, implementation, code reviews, debugging, and documentation
- Responsible for software testing (PHPUnit, Unit, E2E)
- Work with the team to implement core features across our customers’ experiences
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems in a timely and accurate manner
What Past Experience and Current Skills Will Enable Your Success In This Role?
- BS/MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4 years experience working as a Laravel/PHP Developer
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience using Laravel 11.x+ framework and Vue.js 3.x (or other js, e.g. Angular or React)
- ML/AI experience preferred
- Strong REST API development experience
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL
- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative engineering environment
- Advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Attention to pixel-perfect detail
- Prior experience working remotely preferred
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Pay Range: 130,000-150,000 plus Bonus

What You Will Do:
Full-Stack developer responsible for the design and implementation of a distributed enterprise application with external and internal interfaces utilizing Microservices and business automation patterns to modernize an existing system from the ground up.
The candidate will focus on full-stack design, implementation and testing of the software built on a new technology stack using industry standard tools and design patterns.
Design, develop and test enterprise web services API’s and backend services

The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
